I'm so happy for you! A bit jealous too. :) I figured they would be ahead in their studies..its a very bright group of young men. My SR is also a Nuke, so more than likely will leave the same time yours does for Charleston. "Confidence Chamber"...love the sugar coated name for that activity. lol I didn't get mail today like I typically would, just figured that their studies and  PT have picked up. Thank you for keeping us updated...and again congrats on the call!
Still no letter today...getting a bit worried. The "no news is good news" saying isn't of much comfort after a while. :(
I hope you hear soon especially since he has been sick.  It is a mom thing to worry-- I am like that.  Keep the faith and hang in there.
Thank you for your support...hoping he gets a chance to call tomorrow, or at least write.
Also crossing my fingers for a phone call! :)
Still have your fingers crossed? I'm trying to keep the faith. Please let us know if your SR calls.
Of course I do! He called right around this time last time, so I'm hoping extra hard. :) I'll keep you guys updated- hoping you'll do the same! :D

I just be glad when boot is over and Nuke school starts...least he'll be closer to home. I got a letter Friday and they were writing something 10 x each....so it was a short letter :(

I was hoping to get a letter from my SR this week or a phone call (he's Nuke too, unless he gets disqualified). Not sure why he didn't get to write, but will keep hoping this week is better.

Hi, My son is in DIV 001. I am so happy to read other post from Mom's in this Div :-) Zack is following in his Grandpa, and Father's footsteps, buy joining the Navy! We are so proud of him!!!!

welcome to our group!  My son is the first in my family to go Navy but has a great-grandpa on his dad's side who was Navy.  I guess you already know the ropes.
Welcome to our discussion, Annie. We try to keep each other updated as best we can about phone calls and letters. Feel free to join right in, just keep in mind that these discussion boards may be read by the RDC's so we try to keep it generic. There are so many reasons to be proud of our SR's! My son's father is a Navy vet, so he feels like he's continuing a tradition. Best of luck...hope those calls and letters come in!
