OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

See where it says Buckley Road and then you turn into RTC? This turn is OHIO. Then see Gate 8 with the red dot? This is the gate to enter for PIR. If you continue past Gate 8 on OHIO you will head straight into the Metra parking lot

Just an FYI for everyone. I went to PIR May of this year. We were directed to park behind Midway Hall  (where the black grid marks are beside the green building)inside a parking structure, NOT across the way where it says "Parking Lot Graduation" We DID return our Sailor to that parking lot across the way on the first night. All days after that I was always directed to the parking lot beside Midway Hall. I had to park and walk across (it's a walk)to get my SR from the NEX. (Visitors are not allowed past the Chapel)

Any idea where there is handicapped parking? would they direct us?

Sorry for the delay. I am gouing to assume that it is closest to the elevators in the parking structure. Whoops...didn't say it was a parking structure...will revise post.
Thank you FireTeam!  This will help a lot.  I tried to find some maps of the RTC, but wasn't able to.  I've printed it out to use when we get there.
