There will be alcohol at the Ramada as well...they give free drink vouchers to anyone staying there.  This one does sound family friendly; my 11 year old will be with us, and we don't drink anyway.
Did you decide on Sarges?  I didn't hear anything about my son's drs appt soooo - no news is good news definitely in this instance...think I will finally start packing!!  Didn't want to jinx it!  I am sure it is family friendly!
Definately going to Sarge's.  No news is good news for sure.  Glad you didn't hear from him.  My son will have his DSI, so he will be occupied.
Wait, what is DSI?
Got my last two letters from my SR today.  So glad they came early, normally don't get mail until Thurs.  He said he ordered his pictures, what a relief!  Final PFA was Friday.  SR said they may have not won Captin's Cup, but 360 did win the cup for the most motivated divison!  They were to get their military IDs on Monday, Drill Inspection on Tuesday, today will go unmentioned and then Graduation on Friday!!  So proud of this 9/360!!  One more day!!!
I was hoping for one last letter, maybe tomorrow after I leave.  Will be nice a surprise when I get back...Ok so they got the most motivated division, that's something to be proud of also!!  So excited, the clock said something like 1 day 18 hours etc!!  Hooyah!!  See you all very soon...safe travels everyone!!
Ok so my mom is coming out there with me and said shed watch my daughter so I can go to the meet and greet, maybe ill try to make it to both... What is the censes? Are ppl going to the ramada or sarges. Id like to make a name tag but im not that crafty...lol
Ok, I spoke to my friend who son's graduating in 2 weeks...she called Sarge.  She said kids are welcome because it is a private event...so Sadam and Jacket you may bring your children!!  :-)
that's awesome but if my moms willing to babysit and I'm going to be moving soon, i'll probably take advantage of the free child care while i can! lol

I think I'm bordering on obsessive here. I check this and the Navy Recruit Training command pages constantly. My phone hasn't left my side. I'm panicking over the silliest thing like what shoes to wear to graduation. I fly out tomorrow to GL! :D It's been 8 weeks, but I think it'll be so worth it.

I know I haven't posted on this site before, but I always come here when I need to know something or feel like I'm not alone in this. I'm a Navy Girlfriend, not a Navy Mom, but I really do appreciate all of you. Thank you so much for being so active in this. We've almost made it ladies!

Welcom AnHMsGirl...I understand the shoe thing...still trying to figure that one out!!  Will you be joining us at the Meet and Greet?  Will be nice to see everyone and the guy Sarge who is in charge of the one we are going to be is supposed to be great!!  Can't believe we are almost there!!

Glad to meet you!  Hope to see you at the meet and greet tomorrow night.  Girlfriends, moms, wives...we are all missing our guys.  I'm a mom, but I was an Air Force wife when this kid was born, so I remember what it's like to miss your boyfriend or husband.

sadams, hope you make it to Sarge's.  Bring your daughter and mom with you...it should be fun and they will probably enjoy it.  My name tag isn't crafty; it's just colored paper with sticker letters (along with a yellow jacket sticker on it) .  It took 5 minutes to make.  I taped it to my old KMart nametag (had to come in handy for something one day; haven't worked there in 20 years!)  because it had an easy way to pin on.

Leaving very soon today; can't believe we are down to less than two days!  We should get to Chigaco about 11 or 12 tomorrow.  My husband wants to drive all night, so I guess we will be.  Yuck.  But he's so excited to see him, even though driving all night won't make it happen faster.

Have safe trips and I will see you soon!
