Hey supporters of 11/1 SR's there is a contest on facebook at the US Navy RTC site that if you win they take a photo of the winners division!  It is every Tues and Wed at 12 central time!  If you can spread the word and lets win a photo of our boys!!

I'm glad to see that others are getting phone calls too! My SR called this evening. Was saying a lot of the same things that you mentioned igotanchored. Especially about the Snickers ice cream bars. lol

He mentioned that someone in the division was a really good artist and they were working on designing their flag. Something to do with a wolf on a cloud maybe...can't remember exactly.

He also said that their division was doing well, and hoped to get Hall of Fame.

I asked how everyone else was doing and he said for the most part that they were trying their best to do as they were told and stay under the radar.

Thanks for the update!

Thanks for sharing.  I only hear about my son through his dad and band mates.  They don't share many details.  My son said he is tired because the days are long.  Says they are doing great!  I like to hear the details from you about the RDCs and the flags.  I am hoping for a letter from my son soon.  He said none of his friends write him but I am the stalker writer- haha!  They are almost half way!  Yeah!  My ex made his plane reservations yesterday.  I am thinking about doing the same.  My son is in the nuke program so he will probably head for South Carolina that weekend.
My son is also a nuke, apparently there are a few in that division. I got three letters today! He's written far more than I thought he would. I suspect the letters will decrease if they get more opportunities to call. I've decided that I'm going to write him every day though. Might get kinda repetitive for him, but I feel more connected that way. I hope you hear from your SR soon!
I just checked the mail and I got my letter!!!  Yeah- my son is loving it!  He says they have so much fun and their division is doing great.  there are 16 recruits headed to nuke school if they all make it so they will know a few people when they get there.  They are shooting for hall of fame for their inspections and are doing great.  This was his comment on the RDCs- "They are hilarious.  I've cried laughing almost every day but they crackdown when they have to".  I am so glad he has such a good attitude about it all.  He absolutely loves the food and thinks he might be gaining weight.  Love my recruit son!  Miss him tons!  They are in a great division!

hi. my son is in ship 11 div 001

my son is too! Just got a letter today...said that this week was HELL WEEK...really busy and if they made it thru this week it was downhill from here...;)

Was wondering if anyone got a call today from their SR? I had talked to him Thursday for his three week call, but was still holding out hope for today.
Was also wondering this. But remember- no news is good news! :D
So many others getting phones calls today and over the weekend. I'm very, very happy for them but wondering why ours was left out yesterday?
Let's hope they didn't get in trouble! :(
I doubt it...they seemed to be kicking ass lately. :) I think it may have been because they had their 3 week call just a few days ago. Lets keep fingers crossed for letters this week! Wednesday has been my letter day.
