Hi Moms...my son's PIR is 11/10/11 and I just wanted to give  you some information on Sarge and the Meet & Greet that he hosts the same night as the Ramada's Meet & Greet.  Sarge is really a terrific guy and I'm trying to help him out by getting his event out there.  Most people only know about the Ramada Meet & Greet.  Please take the time to read the attachment and don't hesitate to call, text or email Sarge at any time if you have any questions.  If I can be of any help I will try my best to answer your questions.  You can always send me a friend request and message.

GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND YOUR SAILORS!!!!

I know your big day is coming up. Mine is this Thursday 11/10.  I wanted to bump this up and let you know that when I come home I'll give you feedback about Sarge's Meet & Greet.  I'm expecting it to be great.  Good luck to all of you and your soon-to-be Sailors!!!!
Does anyone know for sure that Sarge is having this Meet & Greet for every PIR?

Yes, Sarge will be having his Meet & Greet for every PIR.  He also wanted everyone to know that all Sailors will get a FREE meal of their choice at Trattoria-Pomigliano in Libertyville on the day of Graduation.  Sarge will go over all of this with at the Meet & Greet.  I'm going to post this in the regular discussions as well.

My son's PIR was also last week. I travel nearly weekly for work and arrived in O'Hare via Memphis from a business trip in Vegas. My family was arriving later and I wanted to get to Sarge's Meet n Greet. I emailed Sarge in advance with my arrival info and he had one of his drivers, Mario, pick me up. What a very pleasant surprise that was! Mario was a perfect gentleman, the cab was spotless, we had pleasant conversation and we were at the hotel in no time. The fare of $48 was at least 30percent less than the Chicago city cabs I usually take, and the best part was I felt SAFE as a solo female AND I didn't get car sick from the cabbie riding his brakes. In my opinion Chicago can drivers are some of the worst in the country. Mario even took me and escorted me I to the M&G....you know how it can be uncomfortable to walk into an establishment all alone :).

Sarge will take great care of you and yours. Do yourself a favor and give him a try when in Great Lakes! It's not too late to areach out now for your arrival at any of the area airports! And Most Importantly, CONGRATS to your SAILORS and give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done loving and supporting them!
