That's wonderful news Dentalmom!!! I hope you feel better soon :o)
it was so nice to hear his voice(:
so glad i got to be one of the people he called!
Congrats on your call Ashley!!! :o)
Goooooooooooooooooooood morning everyone! I hope y'all have gotten more letters/phone calls.  Cameron says that the division is really coming together as a unit. I don't know about y'all, but with the way "things" are in the world today--every man for himself kind of attitude--it is so nice to hear about a team...everyone working together, having each other's back...makes my heart feel good.  I am really starting to feel what others have said, "they leave home kids and become grownups"...  I can't wait to see my grownup!  I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Hi everyone...noone has posted in "this group" for several days (I think we're all posting elsewhere tho).  Just wanted to say good morning to everybody...we don't have THAT MUCH longer to wait to see our sailors again.  AND I can't wait to see them perform!  HOPE Y'ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I so agree with you Sue. I am so not so patiently waiting to see their performance.  I have been checking out the posts on fb of the other groups that have been performing and am looking forward to watching the two weeks before 11/18 as well.

Hope you have been having some great days too.

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I started sending the ribbon orders out that many of you ordered so if you placed an order for ribbons to wear to PIR to show your support for your soon to be Sailor be watching you mail, it is stalking time lol. Also, I added a great questionnaire to the discussions and you will want to check it out. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the questionnaire. Thanks so much for the ribbon orders. If anyone has any questions at all just send me a friend request or message on this site or an email to uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com  :-) LaLa

Hi, everyone!  Less than one month to go! I checked out those pictures of the latest performances. Really looking forward to the ceremony. I'm sure it will be much too short. See you all soon :-)

I got a phone call today too!!! My daughter called me at 3:43pm EST. I was in a staff meeting. As soon as I saw area 847 I flew out of there! Luckily my boss and my dept knows about my daughter so they figured it was a phone call from her. Unfortunately she tried calling her dad but he didn't' answer. She tried calling my husband but he was in a meeting with a client and couldn't answer either. Plus he didn't recognize the number. She left him a message and he felt so bad that he missed her call. But at least she and I got to talk for almost 45 minutes. I had to go but she was going to try her father for the second time. She sounded really good. It felt great to catch up and to hear where she's at right now. They took their pictures but she didn't have time to fix her makeup and hair like she wanted to which bums me out because they spend good money on those photos. But anyway like she says if we need to redo them, we'll have her retake them elsewhere. Overall she sounds happy and is excited to see us. I told her about Cracker Barrel and she nearly flipped out! She was excited to hear that we will be able to go there and eat. It's funny because originally I thought about booking a chicago tour bus to sight see Chicago but I mentioned to her that there is a mall nearby in Gurnee and Cracker Barrel is near there too. She loved the idea about just chillin, shopping in the NEX, hanging out in the mall, eating at Cracker Barrel, relaxing and catching up at the hotel. I told her that sounds like a wonderful plan!!!
Check out the RTC Facebook. They took pictures of the 901 division on November 4!!!!  They look fantastic! My daughter looks so cute in her uniform.
Thank you, Wanda. I can't wait to see them.
Your welcome BSU - gotta spread the joy :o)
