shucks ,,,,still waiting for the letter....My son got there on Nov. 2 ...think it will be the same (Jan.6) ???
A day can make a difference...someone can come in today and PIR one week, and someone can come in the day after and have PIR a week latter....as the divisions in the PIR before them where filled up...it can even happen to people who come in the same day to bootcamp.
It will be awhile before I hear from my SR she went in 11-08-11. And with her being in BC during all 3 holidays that may make a difference in weeks possibly?
Join the group, PIR 01/06/12, to connect with others with loved ones who are training with your son and to get a lot of great info and support. You may also want to join New Members Stop Here and check out the Pages and Discussions there. Two other groups you may wish to check out are Boot Camp Mom's and PIR Reference Information. Hello all. Son graduates 1/6/11 I cant wait to see him face to face. He left and arrived in GL 10/31. I hope i get to know some of you through these emotional times... my son is on Ship 12 Div 030..
My son leaves Monday - Nov 14th - goes to Jacksonville FL MEPS - flys out
to Great Lakes Tuesday - Nov 15th
anyone have any ideas on when his grad date will be?
We can make a guess of January 13 or 20, but with the holidays and the skipped weeks, it could be later. You will not know for sure until you receive the form letter from your SR with the date on it.
