I'm a Navy Nuke fiance, and I really don't know what is waiting for us in the Navy. My Fiance leaves this month and I'm a little scared of what coming. His parents don't really like the idea that , we are still together. knowing that he will be gone for a long time. I'm 21 and he is 20. We want to get married but We just found out we can't till he is done with school. I don't know how or what we are going to do. if any one can give us advice it would mean a lot to me. I try to keep my head up high and tell him that everything is ok , but it kills me inside not been able to tell him that I'm missing him already. If there is anyone out there that is going threw the same or has gone threw it please help. . I was planing on moving to where he is going to be based at, but idk if the Navy would be ok with that.

Who ever said you can't get married until he is done with school LIED!!!!!! You two can do what you want.....if you don't get married...it is a free country and if you want to move somewhere go for it...mind you if you aren't married the USN will NOT allow you two to live in base housing. Also if he gets stationed overseas and you are not married you are NOT going there with him.
It is your life....if you all wanted to get married before he leaves for bootcamp you can, just make sure he talks to the recrutier BEFORE you get married to let them know. They may say he can't get married, which isn't true either...only thing it means is the recruiter has to do more paper work...now if you have kids...that is another story getting married before bootcamp could be in issue than due to a certain number of dependents.
There are groups here for nuke loved ones. Lots of the nukes marry during A school, in fact, nuke school is the easiest training command to do it at. Sure, you will probably have to go there and it will be a courthouse wedding, but the marriage counts, not the fancy ceremony. You can even marry before he leaves for boot camp, but that does mean a rush of paperwork for the recruiter.
The only thing which might hold you back is if you aren't an American citizen.
I'm in the same boat as you are. My boyfriend just graduated last week after what seemed like forever. Looking back I think I had the hardest time BEFORE he left because I didn't know what to expect or what it was going to be like with him gone. All I can say is try and be strong in that time. Whether he says it or not, he is scared shitless and being worried and tearful will only make him more nervous. (I did that). I promise it gets easier once things get going and you're right to keep your head up. A positive attitude goes a LONG way and it will help him tremendously. I don't have a lot of advice to give on the best time to get married considering I am going through the same thing right now. Trying to decide between my goals and education and moving with him is driving me crazy!!! All I know is that your love is only going to get stronger, and don't listen to anyone but each other. I really hope everything works out for you guys! If you need to talk you know we're all here to help!
