I met mine Junior year of high school. He was dating someone else and so was I. One day my ex asked me to text him and ask him what the homework assignment was since his phone wasn't working. We continued texting and soon became close friends. He broke up with his girlfriend and about a month later I broke up with my boyfriend. We were walking in the park after school one day and he stopped me and told me he loved me. I told him I loved him too. We have been together for about 2 years now. =)

We went to high school together, and basically were "friends of friends". I went away to college, graduated and moved back home and one night I was out with my friends about a year after I moved home and we ran into each other, talked for a little bit, and the next day he sent me a message on Facebook (we didn't have each other's phone numbers) asking if I wanted to get dinner that night, I said sure why not, and we clicked and have been together ever since :) about 14 months now.

I was his relief on Diego Garcia, taking over the position of Leading Petty Office in our workcenter (we were both ET1s).  We were not upposed ot be dating, but no one was inclined to do more than ding our evals a bit.  He was sent to Sasebo, Japan, to a ship just a couple months after I got there.  I took a month of leave to go visit him in Japan, but his ship went to sea in the middle!  So I went to Kyoto and kicked around for a week until he came back.  I went back to DG; he proposed over the phone later that year.  I was finally at home in February, he managed to take leave too, and after visiting his family in WV, flew to Utah to see me.  We were driving down to AZ with my parents to visit my brothers, and we married while passing through Vegas.

25 years now.

*she smiles*

We met in high school, he a sophmore and me a freshman, just in 9th grade.
I rather hated him, as he had dated my best friend.
But, we talked for about a week, and on February 15th, 2009, he asked me out, and we've been dating ever since~

My story began 10 years ago, we were at the same classroom in Jr High school, We hated each other, well not hated, but We were not good friends!! He used to say I was a Nun, because I used to wear long skirts :(

It passed 10 year before we saw each other again at a party, we haven´t seen at all in all that time, but It was like love at first sight (He looked very different, he used to be fatty and now wow he´s super handsome, at least for me :P), we started to chat every day, like 4 hours daily...as I was living at another city we could´nt saw  each other frecuently, just at the weekends, like a month after we saw at the party we started our relationship, and at those days He was waiting to be called for bootcamp, and it passed 4 months untill he went to bootcamp.

Now we have a year and two months together, We are really in love and we are waiting to get married soon, I hope this year or begining of the next one.

The funniest part of this story is that he is going to get married with the NUN!!!

I met my amazing sailor at the YMCA I work at.....I would scan him into the gym everyday that he would come up and workout. He asked me out on Feb. 13th and our date rolled over into V-day :) He wished me a Happy Valentine's Day and kissed me goodnight. We both had prior arrangments for V-day night, and couldn't see each other, however the night of the 15th we went on our second date and have been together since! He joined the Navy about 4 months ago and we're still going strong! Boot camp was so hard to get through, but I'm extremely lucky we have Skype and can see each other! He is my world! :)

My sailor and I have not seen each other for seven years.

We went to highschool together and were in the marching band. We were friends, but not the close kind since he is a few years older than I am. We went our separate ways after highschool, him to the Navy and I went to college. We started talking earlier this year when he posted his email address on Facebook and that he would be deployed for the rest of the year so all his friends should write to him. Just to say hello, and because everyone likes mail I decided to send him an email. At the time I was dating someone else, but he broke it off since he decided he wanted to go into the Army. (the irony still makes me laugh) My sailor and I caught up throughout the summer and really hit it off. We didnt know how much we actually have in common. Granted there is only so much you can do through phone calls and emails, but we make it work. He'll be home later this year and we will be able to go on our first "official" date, although it feels like I have known him for years.

We'll see how it goes, but I have a pretty good feeling about it.

awwe....cute =D

we were both freshman in highschool when we met, we both had health and computers class together, he flirted (and ended up pissing me off) all year long however by the end of the year i began to flirt back. we ended up having the same driver's ed class in summer and thats when the real flirtation began, i ended the summer class by giving him my number to call...he never did, he says it was because he was to scared of me lol and we spent the next 3 years of highschool avoiding eachother, like we would take different hallways to avoid seeing eachother headed to class (it was intense trying to not see eachother!!)...july 4th 2008, summer before senior year, my best friend took me to his best friend's to hang out, we havent been seperated since. we are getting married this december/january when he gets a week leave after boot camp :)

My guy and I were in college together, met him through student government. He didn't return to college this year, and joined the NAVY instead.

It's been an interesting journey to where we are now. We haven't been dating long, but I know that this is the man I'm meant to be with. I am more and more excited each day to begin a NAVY life with him, however I know that it will take a little more time until that can officially happen.

I love that feeling. I may be young but I just know...this is the guy for me. He is everything I wanted and my perfect balance.

I'm 23 and he's only been 20 for almost two months (had his bday a week before boot started), and somehow he's already decided I'm going to be his wife.

I have no idea how he's so sure, I wasn't sure of anything at that age. lol.

But yes, he and I balance each other perfectly.
