My daughters division too! We are flying in from Utah. Can't wait to see my girl!
Have you received any letters or phone call? I have only received the "I arrived" call. She is my youngest. I am so ready to hear something! I'm so glad to hear from someone in her division! Where will you be staying?
This is my son's division also. We received the form letter with his official address and he wrote a little note on the back of that but we haven't heard anything else. I can't wait to hear from him.
I can't wait to hear from her. I rush home every evening to check the mail. I miss her terribly. I hope they are waiting for the Thanksgiving holiday-that would be awesome to receive a call.
Just got a phone call. Only got to talk about 2 minutes. It was great to hear her voice. She said her division just got our letters 2 days ago. They had been in trouble???? Doesn't sound too good. She has never been a problem child, never been to the principals office. I can't imagine.
I got a note today from my son and he also said that there were "some people" that were really messing it up for everyone. The division is treated as a team and if one messes up they are all in trouble. They have not been allowed to mail any of there letters and at the time he wrote us the note they were not receiving any mail, so it is nice to know that they are at least getting out letters now. My son has never been in trouble either but because there are others that have done something they are all punished. I am so glad that you got a phone call; I hope to hear his voice soon.
Hello Baylorbear! My dughter is ship2 div907 also!! You received a call.....? I thought we might hear from her yesterday, have had phone glued to my hand ....nothing though! Have you received any letters?
Yes, I got a letter on friday. She said one girl got the entire group in trouble. They had just got their letters we had been mailing. They were going to get to start writing, but the one getting in trouble made them all have to wait another week. But they can now write. Her boyfriend received 20 or so. LOL She said she FINALLY got to shave and it was AMAZING!!!!!! lol I was excited when I opened the mailbox. She they saw the other divisions getting their mail and it was like Christmas....but better. I have been writing her daily. I am so proud of her and her choices. I can't wait to see her on Jan 6th......Hopefully you will be receiving a letter soon. What is your daughters job?
I got a letter on friday too!! Yes, I was very excited to see them in the mail box (not sure if I would consider it a letter more like a note) none the less very thankful to hear from her. She didn't give a lot of details, just said she was a little sore and that she missed us all. Oh, I so hope its not my daughter getting all of them in trouble, I would feel just horrible if it was. I don't know about you, I have never been one of those "not my kid" kind of moms I am more "what did they do"... Don't get me wrong she has never been a problem child I was just afraid the adjustment from civilian life to sailor would be hard. This should be week four for them if my counting is correct, not too sure if they count the processing days though? So, even the ones having a hard time adjusting should have it down by now you would think.
they are or should be if my timing is right on 2-3 or 2-4, we were on phold for a week then the holidays are setting them back, im not a mom but i wanted to help you moms out i was in div 907 but got medically seperated :( but i know the whole division if you have questions about your son or daughters ill be glad to fill you all in
