First mom - checking in! :)

hey navybear...what hotel are you staying at on Christmas?  i am trying to book right now...

Oh noo sadly we will not be coming for Christmas. But we did book Ramada for PIR.

we're thinking the Navy Lodge...any thoughts on that for PIR?

I hear good things about it. But there is no shuttle to PIR We are renting a car but the shuttle sounds like the way to go for getting there. I think I have read every review out there and everyone says Navy Lodge is nice, clean and basic.

Well I just booked our rooms at the Navy Lodge for PIR as well as Christmas...feels good!  Now I need a letter from my son telling me all about his days!  then i will be a happy mama!

woo hoo! very nice :)  Bring on the letters!

For Christmas we have reservations at the SpringHill Suites Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee, rate is 105 a night.  Made Brunch reservations at Wildfire!

very nice!  I wish we could be there for Christmas too.  It is comforting to know in any case that my son will have somewhere to go!

I still have not gotten THE letter, however I did get today the 2011 adopt a sailor form with a note from our SR.  It said Check this out, you NEED to show up, Bring -------- (girlfriend) but read the rules.  Please figure this out for me.

I love the letter and how strange it is for me to say his handwriting actually has gotten better!  Now to decide what to do, I know we are going to do brunch and let him just relax in the hotel.  That might be all he wants to do.

That's the form I'm waiting for!!!  I hope I get one soon!  that is - if our son wants to see us (haha)  I've even made the reservations already - without getting the form yet!  Where do you live?

Got the letter, so we are set
