Thank you, I agree!

Oh, that's right, their petty officers call everyone by their last names!  Too funny!  And I do agree I like to keep our SR's anonymous, Some of our boys will maybe start to know each others first names, but they'll probably mostly use last names like guys do.

I'm trying to keep track of the moms & girlfriends of our SR's in 09/024.  I've started a list so I can keep everyone straight.  It would be nice to have the SR's names too, I wonder my son has made friends with.  I don't even know yet who is bunking next to him, my son isn't very detail oriented!

great. I already broke a rule on here.  :(

I think we all have done it once during this time! I guess we could private message on FB the boys last name. my son said the same thing we only get called by our last names, wonder if there are more then one with the same last name,

Don't worry...yes they are "rules" but try to think of it more as safety for you and your future sailor...this is new and that's why we veteran moms stay on...so we can help...yeah...I'm being the "post police"...but it is to help you...not get on your case...I know it's just because you don't know. This site is public and anyone can read it. FB allows last names...don't know why.

Crystal it's okay! I also edited the one with your phone number..

Ladies, most don't find out the first names of each other until near the end of BC...if they do!

UGH! I'm always in trouble!! LOL!!!

Ladies, Just wanted to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving.  We are all in this together, and remember, we are almost halfway there!!! I Love you my Navy Mom Family!!! XOXOXOXO

My stepsons name is John.  He is one of the tall ones.  He was so surprised when I asked him this past weekend during our call what he thought of always eating last.  He just laughed and aksed how I knew about that.  He is 18 as well.  Maybe he knows some of your sons/husbands/boyfriends.  He also said that BS21 in on tDec 18th.  If that helps anyone.

Wishing you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving, even though there will be one empty seat at the table this year,We can be thankful that our children, husbands are doing what they wanted, I'm thankful for all of them they are my hero's. Have a Blessed day and hope we all get that special call.

Hello Ladies, hope your thanksgiving was as good as could be expected. got a letter today, he sounds down again, I think the holidays and the anxiousness to be done, is playing on him. He sound like he needs a hug, I hope Christmas is easier being that we will be there 4 days later. I will keep them all in my prayers.

Got a letter today too.  Sounds like EVERYONE there is sick!!  :(

On the plus, my baby will be graduating at LEAST an E-2!!! He passed his test along with ten others!!! WOOT WOOOOO!!!!

Great news the 2nd letter I got Kyle told me he went up in Rank and that = more $. I guess they have to make it worth the sacrifice. But it does give them a boost. Hope Kyle isn't sick, he is down as it is.
