Oh no.  LOL I have sent several cards to my son, hope they are not getting extra workouts.  I just sent one that you could record on so he would be able to hear our voices.  Yes I am a wishy washy mom.  I have received a few letters and was very happy. He is suppose to call today and let us know where he is going after graduation.

I got a call last night from my son and got to talk to him for almost 40 minutes.  It was so good to hear his voice.  He sounded great and in good spirits.  All seems to be going well.  Counting down the days till PIR.

I missed my son's call yes there were tears. He did talk to my mom for a little bit. His voice mail message was choppy and the audio was not the best but I heard that he loves me and misses me so I am ok. Hopefully they are able to call again for Thanksgiving...I wanted to kick myself for not answering my phone but I was teaching...

@corpsmanmom, I'm so sorry you missed your call. Hopefully you will get one today. I was just lucky that my son called my phone instead of our house phone. Wishing you best chances at talking to him soon.

I'm sorry you missed your calls...praying for another!

My son is in this division

My son is in the division.  Have received some letters and waiting for a call.

Just a heads up on the ribbons you guys have been ordering to wear to PIR. All the ribbons that I have received payments for were shipped today. Please let me know what you think of them when they arrive. I know you will all wear them with pride when you see your Sailors. If anyone else would like more info on ordering the ribbons just send me a friend request on this site or an email to uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com   Thanks so much :-)

I got a call last night! My son sounded happy and full of purpose! He said it is hell week and that they have been through a lot of inspections. He called to let me know that he is taking leave. I am ecstatic that we will have some time together.

Got a call! Can't wait until Thursday!
