My son also left that date and is in div 041

My son left Mpls, MN on 11/15.  He is division 041 :)

Hey! That's so wonderful. Perhaps we will all be able to hook up at grad. I cannot wait to meet the Talon's friends. Have you guys heard anything from your sons yet? Do you know the  PIR date yet?? I haven't heard from my son yet, but as soon as I do I will share with you. Keep the faith and feel free to contact me anytime. We will say a special prayer for your boys too and wish you the very best holiday season that you can have. I know you are missing them, as I am my Talon. Feeling so cut off during the holidays is so awful, I'm sure you all feel the same. If I can ease the pain somehow Let me know.

God Bless,

Shelly (Talon's Mom)

PS: PIR date Jan 13th, 2012!! YAY! Now we can count down the days!!

No word from my son yet.. other than the I'm here call, and a nice note he scribbled on the inside flap of The Box.  But, I am writing him every day, sending questionnaires and self addressed stamped envelopes :)  All of division 041 will PIR on 1/13/12 so YAY!!!  Lucky for me I have three other children at home, so they assist in keeping me occupied.  It is so nice to have others to talk to who are going through the same thing.  Thank you for starting this discussion, we will definitely need to keep each other posted :)

I haven't gotten the box yet, however, he may have sent it to his GF's house, as we just moved to AZ, and he didn't take the new address with him. Duh! I have been writing daily too, I pray one of us gets a letter soon! Thanks to you all for responding!

Shelly

I got the box on friday and the form letter yesterday . just a short note on the back of the form letter and thats all i have heard so far . glad to hear from others in the same division

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I am feeling so nostalgic today. I can't stop crying. I Know he is well and doing his best, yet it doesn't make it hurt any less. The words of encouragement are very helpful. I am truly grateful for your reply. My Son will be a Nuclear Engineer soon.  Thank God he will be near his grandpa for Nuke training so that is helpful too. Happy Thanksgiving, my prayers are out for you and yours. God Bless you and our Military personnel and their families!

Shelly

I got a call from my son tonight!!!! Sounds good, says he is fine. Thank you Navy for allowing him to call. More for us moms than for the boys. We need to hear from them! God Bless!

My boyfriend left on Nov. 16. Did any of you get any phone calls or anything?

My husband left on the 15th and is in Div 041. I just graduated from bootcamp this past friday so I know exactly what he is going through. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get mail from him yet since I didn't know what my address would be.
