Hey when my SR called yesterday he said something about being able to spend the Wednesday and Thursday before PIR with us?! Is this true, did anyone else hear something similar??

Also, according to my SR this division has a problem with talking when they're not supposed to......lol

I'm so worried. I didn't get a call yesterday and neither did my son's gf. Is there anyone else who didn't get a call?

I don't know this for sure but I read on the website somewhere that if they had "watch" when the phone calls were being made, they just missed out.  I also heard they get to call on Christmas Day.  Let us know if you get a call - I really hope you do!

Okay, thanks,

My daughter told her fiance that she is a grad and go, so we will only get Friday after graduation with her.

She will get to go off base for Christmas in the adopt a Sailor program and will have unlimited calls that day, it will be a good day.

My SR also mentioned in a letter that there is alot of talking and not getting everyone to be quite so they get more "training".

My daughter is S12 Div, 029 I just got off the phone with her! So awesome to hear her voice. I told her I had found this site, but no one is posting on her division. She said they share with 030 and I should talk to parents on here. So here I am, hope you don't mind. She was supposed to call on Monday, but missed her time so they let her call tonight. We got to talk for about 20 min. We are going to adopt her for Christmas and can't wait to see her again. It's been 1 month and it seems like an eternity.

My son is in ship 12 div 29 and we haven't heard a word. He indicated in a letter he would call Monday, but we didn't hear anything. I really was hoping for more information on our division, but hardly read posts on our group.

Got our call last night. So awesome and relieving to hear her voice. She sounds happy and peppy, not sure all my separation anxiety is gone though, yet still so very proud of her. She wasn't able to make her call on Monday, but we didn't have a great connection and I missed the reason. Just keep remembering that truly no news is good news because you will most definitely get a call if something is wrong. Someone else has joined our division group hopefully they stay. I keep searching everything on here constantly to see if I can find anything that helps me feel more connected.

Eventhough I had my 5 minute fix with my SR last Monday, I am sure feeling blue this morning.  I am missing my son more than ever now.  I hope everyone is well 31 days to go, can't wait.

@ ihgril72 - My daughter told me they are partner divisions, if that is the case I can tell you that they are on day 4-2 today. If you go the top tab of groups, scroll down to New members stop here scroll down and click on craig from colorado. If you look in the Navy DEP deppers and bootcamp, it will give you a day by day of what they are doing. When I get really down and missing her, I go see what they are doing on that day and it helps me feel closer to her. Hope this helps, it is difficult for all of us! Will be thinking of you.

Is there a mom named Holly with a son in this division ?  If so, send me a message. :)

Hi! I'm hoping you mean me.  Hollee.  I do have a son in this division.  I'm going to be staying at the Springhill Suites with my son's girlfriend.  We don't get in until 8 - 9 p.m. so I don't know how much of the meet an greet we can attend.  Looking forward to meeting with you!
