OH wow....28 days and only on 2-3 or 2-4!! What is on hold... and why?
p hold the division had to fill up and other things held up the division it took us 2 days to complete day P1. they are moving right along now, but holidays do not count as training days.
How many are in the 907 division? Male and Female
I can't even imagine what they all go through just making the adjustments being away from home and living with people they don't know. Females can be so moody and hormonal.LOL Thats what is so great, them learning to live together work together and accomplish their goals as a team. I can't wait to see the changes in my daughter.
Wow what a weekend...a 12 page letter yesterday and a wonderful phone call today. Very hard to say goodbye but I think I can make it through now. I can't wait to see my son on 1/6/12. He sounded so mature and grown-up; so very proud of him.
My son is in this division too. We are from Texas as well! Super excited about flying and seeing my son graduate. I didn't get a letter from him until three weeks later. I heard they had lost their mail privileges. But I got a call tonight from him. Cried some but couldn't depress him so I got composed quickly and asked him a billion questions. It's nice to hear from other moms from my sons division.
It is great hearing from them. My daughter said 2 males got in a fight and they got their priveleges taken away. Their division is second overall with a 4.06. She said they were going to get to call because they thought their score was 4.6 however when they looked it was 4.06 She said they earned their academic flag. She said there is 70 something in the division now. Some sent home due to asthma, adhd, not coping etc, Have you already made your reservations? I'm looking forward to seeing her. Hope they get to call again this week. : )
I have yet to make reservations. We will this Friday. My husband wants us to drive...still pondering that thought. It's far from where we're at! I am concerned that he won't get any liberty after graduation. I don't know how to get that info ahead of time. I would love to get some time to spend with him before he heads to A school. I asked him to find out for me but he'll probably forget. Praying all goes well for Ship 2 DIV 907!
Woo-Hoo...the phone call was sooo great!! Had so many questions and finally so many answers tooo!!!!YEAH!!! She has adjusted so well, we are so proud of the changes in her already!! You can hear the confidence in her voice, even thru all the emotion. We have decided to drive for PIR, will be making reservations today. Looking forward to meeting all of you, have a blessed day!!
I have been reading your posts and thought I would join in. My son is also in the 907 division. I am so amazed by the changes in him - it is truly amazing! He has matured so much in just over a month. I got a 3 page letter from him yesterday, and I don't think he has ever written that much - even in school! He said that 9 have gone home and he wouldn't be surprised if more left. He says that he is closer to the friends he has made than any friends he has ever had. I have been praying for him relentlessly, and realize how much they all need our prayers. Hope to meet you all at PIR!
My son wrote today and he said he passed Marlinspike! He sounded very proud of himself and I felt my heart swell with tremendous pride for him too. He says he's getting close and I'm super excited for him. Can't wait until graduation!
