Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

We have a few members in our group under the PIR grad date... My son is a Nuke in that division. There are about 35 of us so far in the PIR group for 1/20/12 so if you haven't joined, please do!

Sorry I am an idiot with all of this Pleae bare with me. Just trying to conncect with others that have family in this goup. She has listed the 4 family to be at her graduation. But we have more people that want to attend. Trying to find out if others are allowed or not. Does anyone know this information?

I've heard different things. I know the PIR only has 5 divisions which is pretty small. Graduation doesn't have "tickets" just the names on a list. They are limited to 4 names but I did read on here somewhere that others can come and will only be let in if there is room. I think there is a better chance since the PIR is so small. I think the other way would be if other sailors didn't have 4 people on their list and added your extra family to their lists.
That's what I've read on N4M but I'm a newbee just like you. Please join the PIR group! There are only 4 from Div 043 so far. Quite a few of us change our names to include the Ship/Div so we can find each other. -

CB813, Rachael has given you really good advice. Please join your PIR group. Just click on the link that she gave you and then click on Join Group. There are many ladies in that group and a few of us "veteran" moms also there to answer your questions. Hope to see you in the group.
