Our sailors will moving on to the 2nd phase of "Nuke" School. Indoc starts on Feb.9th and classes on the 13th. Since we will all be in the "same boat" together, I thought it will be nice to share our experiences.  Lets continue to support our sailors and each other!

We were there too watching the graduation.  They all look so confident and it was fun to see them for the first time in their dress blues.   I think the Navy is smart to give the sailors some time to de-stress from studying with the T track idea. Welcome to our site.   Maybe our sons will be in the same power school class.

Hate  to  be  a  kill  joy but I  didn't  think  you  were allowed  to  take  picture of  the  outside  facility. I  know  when  I  asked  my  son  to  show  me  what  was  outside  his  dorm  room he  said  he  was  not  suppose  to. Maybe  someone  who  knows  more than  I  do  can  address this.

Janenrich, didn't take the pictures, she just shared the link. I also thought you couldn't take those pics but not certain. I have however seen other pics when I googled. They (pics) are out there!

My son says that the Power school class will be  be Class 1202. Can anyone confirm this? I will change our forum to T-track (Power School Class 1202 waiting to fill) if I know for sure.

will ask Colin later today if he has gotten any word on the class number.........so far good on T-Track, getting stuff done on his car as he is planning on selling a perfectly good car cause he wants a truck! Spending alot of time in the Gym and playing Billards with the rest of the guys! Watch rotation just changed to 12/24, 12 hrs on 24 hrs off.

Hes looking forward to that extra pay kicking in since promotion, thinking it will hit the 15th pay period.

Hope this finds you all doing well!

Cindy...yep Colin said he thought it was 1202!

My EM son told me a day or two ago that he will class up in Feb. and his class will be 1202.  He's told me a couple of times that he's somewhat bored.  Oh well, that will change when PS comes around!  Then he'll be wishing for some down time!!

Have  your  sons or  daughters   gotten  their chit  to  come  home  at  Christmas yet?  My  son  has  not  gotten  his.I  thought  the dates  they  were  given in  A school  were firm. We  have  already  bought his  ticket. I  don't  know  if  his  concern  is  premature or  if  everybody  else  have  gotten  theirs.

Betsyleebig .......did he approach his SLPO to get it? My son got his chit to go to Vegas last week. They gave him the dates he was told however, he cannot leave until after 3:00 pm on his leave start date and has to be back early (I can't remember the time) on the last date. I hope you ticket will comply with their guidelines if not, I hope you got insurance. Good luck.

Amanda...... you know what they say.... "boys and their toys" hahaha. . That money is burning a hole in his pocket before it even gets there. Josh is also looking forward to ther extra pay and when he picks up his car (wich he is anxious to get) and his belongings  he will have an extra $170.00 a month  just by getting rid of the storage locker payment.  He also told me about the 12/24 watch and warned me that I won't be able to get a hold of him as easily as the last few weeks.

colins is scheduled from the 20th-26th! yeah boys and there toys...this kid has owned 6...yes 6 different cars since he was 16! damn get one and keep it for awhile! Colin is very frugal...gets that from his grampa I think.....very tight with his money! Has a great looking and running 2002 ford mustang for sale....the redneck in him is coming out and he does alot of outdoor activitys, hiking, fishing, hunting,, biking and such...cant transport that stuff in a Mustang! So searching for a truck.....has some friends deffinately interested in his car, cause he deffinately takes care and does the upkeep on his vehicles, Ill give him that!

He drops me a text about every day....today was about 9:30...stating "pretty much done for the day", my response "u suck, some of us have real jobs!"

Amanda/Colins Mom my son is in T Track also and is looking for a good car
