Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

They don"t all get them done on the same day. My SR wisdom teeth were pulled last week so he was able to make his call. The same thing happened to my other son last year. He was SIQ when they got to call so no call for me then either.

Unfortunately he was never given a call to make up for it. I know its not what you want to hear. Our next call was the I am a sailor call. At this point the best u can hope for is that they can earn calls

I just got a 20 minute call from my brother.(: He said the division did really good so they got treated with a call. Everybody be ready,(:

I hope my son uses his call to talk to his girlfriend as she is leaving for BC at Great Lakes tomorrow. We would love to hear from him, too, but I'm willing to take one for the team! I have my fingers crossed. Thanks for the update!

My son's girlfriend got the call this time. I'm happy just to hear he's doing okay. The peril for our SRs is having so many important people in their lives and trying to keep in touch with all of them with very limited number of calls and time to write letters. But I know they love us and miss us as much as we miss and love them too. Hang in there everyone!! And congrats to everyone who got calls!!

I also got a call! He says they did really well on their pre Weapons Turnover Inspection. Only five hits! Last time they had 15 so a big improvement. My understanding is that they work in groups of 6. If anyone in your group misses a question all 6 get IT. He said proudly, "I haven't done a push-up all day!" It is such a glorious thing to see them go from the adolescent "it wasn't my fault" to the adult "we succeed or fail as a team". Actually, I think I'm baeing over-generous to adults. I know a lot of 40 year olds who have still not grasped that concept! He says next week is "Hell week". Huh? Apparently it's a week with a lot of tests and inspections that have to be prepped for. So light the blue candle everyone, and keep that positive energy flowing!
