We are half way to graduation, which is 1-6-2012. Anyone else have the same graduation time?

We are from Rockford, Il. so are only 70 miles away, we are getting a hotel for Thur. night to go to the meet and greet and not have to drive that in the morning before graduation as it is so early in the morning. We are going to see how the rest of the weekend goes as she is staying at GL for A school. As far as when your son will leave, he will probably be the only one that can tell you that. I am sure he will let you know as soon as he hears, from what I am reading it seems to be different for everyone.
Thanks Heather's Mom, Maybe we'll run into each other there. I'm Caleb's mom and my name is Dale. I think they are leaving at 1:30am, but I'll have to hear that straight from the horses mouth, so to speak. Do you know if we can see our recruit before graduation? We are doing the meet and greet Thur also.
CDMom, my name is Jo. I am pretty sure we don't get to see them before graduation. It's getting closer, beginning to feel like it's coming up pretty soon rather than too long to wait LOL.
Hi Jo,
I talked with Sarge and he said we can't see them before graduation unless we adopt a sailor for Christmas and they filled out their application, which mine didn't. His dad does not want to make this drive twice in the winter. I so understand. They are two thirds done. Praying they pass all their tests. I like your thought that it is coming up soon rather than too long to wait. :) Thanks that helped me.
Dale, from what I hear graduation is short and goes really fast, it will be here before we know it. You should be able to take him right from graduation and spend the day with him. Heather has to check into A school before we can take her, they said it can take from 2 to 5 hours to do that. We got several letters from Heather today, she is doing well and very excited. I read it while on lunch so when I get home I have to reread it and figure out about 1/2 of what she is talking about. I can't keep up with the Navy language yet.
Sarge said he was going to call, but hasn't yet. So they are leaving for the airport at what time I wonder?
Hi I would call him back because i had to,He says he has alot to do and sometimes forgets.
