We got a letter yesterday - it was dated 12/1/11 so they were 1/2 way through Hell Week and our son said it was going well. I have not heard about the tee shirts but I can't wait to get one! I don't have my red scarf yet but I'm working on it! Have a good day all!
Mee too!! And yes - the uknown is so very cruel. Just keep remembering - no news is good news
:)
Hey ladies...we finally got 1 short letter and 1 long letter. It seems they are all doing pretty well. They passed Marlinspike and they are coming together much better than before. I think they have 3 div flags now. I am hoping the next 3 weeks are MUCH smoother for our SRs. It sure sounds like it. :)
Good morning everyone! Gotta love our Division- they are rock'in those flags! Our boys are doing great!
I like this quote;

Good morning everyone! Hoping your day is blessed with lists checked off and you still have energy at the end of the day... hahahaha! Happy Monday!
Don't have my entire list checked off but I'm working on it :) My mother-in-law got our red scarfs (and hats & gloves) to wear to PIR :) I really need to start some baking SOON!
I still need to get my red scarf---plan to bake on Thursday with my best friend, her daughter-in-law and grandson! Should be a fun, messy time! :)
Praying for our soon-to-be Sailors. <3 Hope you all have a great day!
Yipee!!! 16 more days!!! WAY to much to do before then, but hopefully I will be so busy that it all things are checked off and time will fly. Now that I am hosting my hubby's side for christmas dinner I have more to do than I had planned on. Oh well- tis' the season to be frantic. hahahaha!
I am so proud of our Division. They are coming together nicely and flags are abound. Great job to all our boys!
Question- Does everyone know where their son will "A" school? Mine will head to San Antonio (Fort Sam) for HM
Have a Blessed day y'all!
Our son is going to A school in Great Lakes. He won't be taking leave until after A school. On a positive note, we will be spending Thurs Dec 29 to Monday Jan 2 with him whenever we can see him.
Our son is also going to A school in Great Lakes and - like the sailor mentioned above, he won't be taking leave until after A school. We will be staying in Waukegan until 1/1/12 and will spend as much time as is possible with our son, too! I cannot WAIT! Time seems to be going by quicker now - thank goodness! We got a letter yesterday and he still sounds great! Said he was getting his 3rd hair cut and that it is pretty cold there - but still no snow (as of 12/6/11 that is :). Have a great day everyone!
