My son just arrived at bootcamp last night...this is just the hardest thing ever...ugggh

My son also arrived last night. I It was hard to say goodbye. I am so proud of him and the decision he made. I comfort myself with the knowledge that since his birth I have worked towards him getting out into the world and in a good place. I feel like he is doing that. He is 19 and I am looking forward to seeing graduation. We will get through this time with the support of each other.
My son is also 19, and I know we can get through it...it just sucks it has to be at this time of year! btw..I added you as a friend...and I can def use some support!!!
My daughter arrived late yesterday also. She turned 18 in October and this is the 1st time she has ever been away from home. I'm so proud of her but this is really hard.
My son has never been gone more than 3 days...and always was chaperoned before...this is really hard!!
I am also excited...my boy (MAN) is gonna be so handsome in his uniform :) ...but....that is a LONG way away (atleast it feels like it)...my husband cleaned my son's room...thank goodness...I don't think I could do it...we got the BOX today with his belongings in it...thats all though....
Has anyone got ship numbers yet? I was told I could get the information from the recruiter 2 or 3 day after "the call". I have called him twice, but haven't gotten a call back. It's Friday now so I doubt I'll get any info today. I cleaned 1/2 of my daughters room yesterday. "Proudmom2011" you're right about picking-up her clothing and making her bed, I cried most of the time, I finally had to stop cause I couldn't do it any more.
I've not gotten the info yet. His recruiter sais he would call me today with his adress.
I was under the impression we wouldnt get an address for atleast a couple of weeks? maybe I should call my son's recruiter?
The recruiter told me he may have the address by yesterday. He did not though. I have read that the address the recruiter gives us is not always correct.
I just walked outside and the box is here. I was hoping it would have some info in it. I thought maybe the form letter came with it. Nothing. He even sent back the few stamps he took with him.
