i cant join it for some reason ???

thats odd. Did you click the button on the top right saying join?

I was wrong, we don't join, we just post information here.

nothing says "join" on it

I was wrong we don't join. We just post things here.

anyone traveling alone and need a hotel buddy?  I thought I must not be the only parent traveling alone, right?  I have the airfare and plan on showing up on the 26th. This should be enough, right?  or should I show up on the 25th?  This time of year, the weather is horrible.  I am coming from Houston, Texas.  I have to be back to work by Monday.  Any ideas?

I would recommend a non stop flight because that time of the year there are so many weather delays, and with a non stop flight it is one less plane to worry about.

I received 2 letters from my girl today!  Only BAD part was, I MISSED HER CALLING!!  ARGH!!  She did get a hold of her dad.  She says she got a blister and it got infected adn she had to go on LLD(Light Limited Duty)  This was on 12/8 so I figure she is healed fine by now.  She said she is eating like a horse, which is great because she is lightweight, she could use a few more pounds.  She likes the RDC's now(that was NOT what she said in her first letter LOL)    She sounds like she is doing great!  That makes me feel pretty good.

I can't wait for January 27th!!

wonderful!!  I know that the RDC's have a hard time at first.  They usually have never had much leadership training.  I was enjoying MAA when I was in bootcamp but my daughter said she wanted to be the Yoeman to do mail, lol.  I know that they fed us ALOT of chicken and feed us well.  She should put on some muscle while there.  It will be lean also.  My daughter was actually 5 pounds over limit but 5% less body fat.  She was a weight lifter in High School.  Those measurements can be so very wrong.  I am glad you got your letters!  Keep your head up.

Wow, I got my first phone call. He sounded good but very tired. He said days are long and that his division finished week 2 today and they start day 1 week 3 tomorrow.
