well think the Color Guard is out....he said that the people that participated didnt really act interested or take it as serious as he did......so watch it is! But on a better note...he comes home the 20th, greatest Birthday gift for this momma!
Everyone enjoy your visits with your Nukes! Having them home will make the holidays all the more special. I have been down in the dumps about not having my son home this year but I am finally getting over it. I am still blessed to have the rest of my family including both of my parents. I will celebrate the birth of Christ with all of them. I will continue to look forward to a future visit from my Navy boy.
havent been on here for awhile, unfortunately my SIL past away before we could make it down to Fla. Funeral yesterday, was very nice, she was a very free soul! Will miss her dearly!
But on a lighter note, came home to my Nuke boy being home....and to know surprize the little shit traded in his Mustang and got him a pick-up...the country in him is deffinately coming out, but he promises he wont start chewing! hahaha!
Wanted a pait of cowboy boots, so before we left for Fla the clerk at Boots Jack in SC was kind enough to take my card infor over the phone.....and yes....he brought me the reciept!
Merry Christmas to all you moms!
Sorry you were not able to have that last visit with her that you were hoping for. Enjoy your Christmass with your sailor. I talk to Josh, he started his journey from Vegas to Goose Creek. He called Eve and Day, he is going to call during our family get togethers so he can talk to everyone. Not quite the same but will have to do. MERRY CHRISTMASS EVERYONE!
Any news about power school start date?
Happy birthday to him! Has he been told he will be in that class? My nuke told me he didn't know if he would be in that class as he questioned if it would be filled by the time it got to him.
Betsyleebig....your son graduated A school the same week as mine. He shoul;d definately be in 1202 as the class was still in the first week or two of being filled and it usually takes 3-5 weeks to fill. However, my son was told his start date for PS. Did your son talk to his SLPO? He/she should be able to him the answers.
Only 4 weeks left before they finally start PS! I hope by the time they start Prototype and have to apply what they learned in A school and PS, they haven't forgot it all. Thank goodness my son has much better retention than his mother. If I don't use it, I loose it.
