Hi everyone
I have been out of the U.S.A since last Tuesday and I am so blessed to be able to keep in touch via this site. I was worried that my SR would get a chance to call and I would miss it but guess they haven't had any chances so far. I return tomorrow and then fly out to Chicago on Friday so I will be tired but excited knowing that we will see him on Sunday. Hope everyone's doing fine and I wish for you all a happy holiday.
Didn't get a letter from my SR today. This is my usual letter day. :(
Do we know when our SRs will have "Battlestations"?
I talked to a parent of a SR that had just done their PIR about 2 weeks ago and he told me they got to spend time with their Sailor on friday and their sailor left to A school Sat. am. He met his Sailor at the airport on sat and gave him his cel phone and some other things. I beleive that the sailor can only travel with a small solid black colored back pack any thing else would have to be checked as baggage. depending on what's allowed at their A school. If their A school is in great lakes you may have more time with your Sailor. I hope this helps
What about his car? He's not going to be in GL and we were wondering if they would be able to have their cars with them. Does anyone know? I'm checking with a friend of mine who is a chief and in CT so I'm hoping he'll have some answers. But I forgot to ask about the car.
My SR says that his A school division going to San Antonio will be leaving saturday. They are what is called a "push division".
