The link to order division t-shirts is - http://www.mwrgl.com/gen_info/rtc_graduation/div_tshirt_order_6_201...

It might be too late to get them before we leave. There is a phone number on the site and the girl is very helpful.  You just need to know your PIR date and DIV number.

Thank you

Is it too late to orders Sweatshirts and Ribbons for Graduation on Jan. 6?

Not too late for ribbons, but order today with Lala.  Division tshirts/sweats may be too late if you want them for PIR.

FYI about t-shirts.

I talked to the girl and she said Division t-shirts/sweats will not be there in time for PIR if you haven't ordered by now.  She said the SRs order the black ones and they only take a couple of weeks but it's too late now.  The gray ones take 6 weeks to get to you.  The gray hoodies are pull-over hoodies.  The black hoodies are zip-up.  You can order for later if you want.

my shirt is supposed to come this week, my husband bought it for me for Christmas, can't wait to get it....My SR is staying in GL for A school and told me she didn't know yet if she would be able to be off base for the whole weekend or not. She said she wouldn't know until graduation.

For what it's worth - I got my information from Angie who is a career counselor at Great Lakes and is on the NEW MEMBERS STOP HERE group.  She is a N4Moms veteran who help people like us.  If you join that group and ask to be her friend, she will give you information if you ask.  She told me that no new sailors get to stay off base overnight.  They used to let them but they changed the rules.  The most recent graduates have gotten to go off base but that is because of the Navy Holiday Stand Down which will be over after the December 29th PIR.  (All of that graduating class gets leave)  Anyway, I think her information is pretty reliable from what I have heard.  Maybe we will be pleasantly surprised and she will be mis-informed.  :)

Just to follow up - when I talked to my SR on Christmas Day - he is under the impression that he does get to stay off base for the nights.  However, he said he has heard it both ways and that they won't tell them for sure until January 6th.  So my previous post is anyone's guess!

So where is everyone's SR going to ASchool in 2 weeks?? Mine will be headed to sunny Port Hueneme in California! (Lucky!)

Hello, I have a little concern regarding getting on base with our vehicle.  It is a recently purchased vehicle in Texas and we still have not received our hard license plates for it.  I've called the Public Affairs office and they really tell me anything specific.  Is my vehicle having temporay plates going to be an issue?  Can someone answer my question?

Hey everyone.  I deleted a post because we can't post on here when BattleStations are.  You can private message them on here to each other, but can't post them because these are "public boards."  We used to be able to do that...but RTC wants you all to start practicing OPSEC which means no mention of "ship movement."  They want you to treat BattleStations as ship movement.

So...once they have gone through, you can post as much as you want while waiting for the I'm a Sailor call that day.  Remember that BattleStations is an overnight drill and the calls will start coming in starting around 2 pm GL time the day they finish.  Hoping you all get some of those "soon!"

This is the day we have all waited for - well, this day and PIR.  When you get your call PLEASE ask your SRs if the whole division passed and post it here as soon as you can.  That will take the pressure off just knowing (if they all pass...)  Can't wait to hear.  Hope everyone has a great day and gets their call soon!
