Looking to connect with anyone else who has a loved one on the same ship as my son. I got a call from him today - I WAS SO HAPPY TO HEAR FROM HIM. He needed information for his security clearance stuff so it was a quick conversation but I don't care. It was just nice to hear his voice. He sounded very tired but upbeat if that makes sense.

Have you gotten a call yet?
No I haven't :/ He told me in his letters that they've gotten in trouble a lot, so maybe that's why they haven't called.
I haven't gotten a call either--my son said the same thing, he said,"Don't expect alot of flags from our division as many in our division screw up alot" so maybe they did not earn the right to call. Oh well, at least they will be in great shape. My son also had his lower wisdom teeth pulled like it said in the day to day breakdown that one sailor wrote. They also have some very tough RDC'd which is also verygood for them.
I heard the RDC is pretty tough also! Will be better for them in the end I agree! Would be nice to get a phone call - but no news is good news
My fiance got all his wisdom teeth pulled out! yeah, I think of it as them getting into better shape.
that's pretty brutal to get all 4 pulled during boot camp - I'm glad I had my son's out when he was younger now!!
Any moms, wives, girlfriends, etc who would like to order scarves - go to facebook link and check out the options. I am liking the flag (r, w & b) or the multicolor - there is also a post on here by DarcieR with the taken colors on here. Is anyone else interested in ordering them and/or ribbons also?
Here is the link - post opinions soon - 37 days :)
