For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

so awesome about thier peers from high school, my sons peers from high school stopped keeping tough when our SR was waiting to get in, because he was not wanting trouble. Amazing how table reverse. High school friends are at college being wild and our boys are winning flags. GO 039!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woo Hoo!!! Captain's cup. Nice call from my SR just a little bit ago. yay!!! He laughed at me, because of this list and the news about them winning spreading so quickly. He wanted to know how I knew so fast. I told him FB, cause I had just finished reading about their win.

Our division freakin ROCKS!! I just talked to my sonshine and he is stoked! He said that they rocked the "Cup" today! They really pulled together and had a huge win. He said they are the only division with all of their flags, so proud of them. :)
He called me and we talked for a while then he went into the computer room and we chatted on FB. Then he called me again. lol Now he is eating Taco Bell. I love his guts!
@momof3- I am so glad they are bunk mates! That is awesome!! They will at least know each other once they get to NUKE school. :)

I love that they one Captains cup for the division, but love that they got to call. My SR's gma had been in hospital so it was great he could know she was ok and could call her. God works is awesome ways.
Yes, great news on 039 winning Captain's Cup. We enjoyed the one hour phone call this afternoon.
The weather situation is looking good. I don't mind cold as long as snow doesn't affect the travel plans. Right now, we're on track to fly in on Thursday. We plan to attend Sarge's meet-n-greet Thursday night. Anyone else going to be there?

Well, battlestations were last night, so we should have official Sailors this morning!! My son said that about the time I woke up this morning they would be receiving their Navy covers. :) Almost done with BC!! OOAAHH!!
