Thanks JK'sI I have not had time to figure out how to find the PIR 2/10/2012 facebook group, so I appreciate you posting this note.  If the color for scarves IS to be black for sure I will just pick up fleece for my family and make scarves for us, and if I have time  will ad an anchor using lala's pictures from her facebook page for a sample pattern.  If I can afford it I will try to order our ribbons in black with gold like you did, our sailors last name with the 805.  It looks like it's only around $30. for 4 with shipping.  Just thought I would write all this for the sake of others who may inquire as to our ribbons, colors, words, prices etc!

Mama Bear & 805 moms,

Do  you think that Black will blend in and we will be hard to ID by our Sailors?  We could change to Sky Blue Fleece so that our loves can easily spot us.  I still plan to wear my Black and Gold Ribbon from Lala. Just an idea......any opinions?

That was my fear with black. Was hoping to have something brighter so that they could more readily identify their families. Would still love the sky blue.

Okay, me too.  I will change on the dvision color forum.   Help to spread the word with the other 04/505 moms and families.  I hope this doesn't place a hardship on anyone.  Our guys and girls are going to be LOOKING for us.....we want to make ourselves easy to locate.

Oh Im so glad!!!!! Yay!! This will make it so much easier for them to find us! Thanks for changing it!  I posted a message on the ship 4 div 805 facebook page.

SKY BLUE......As of 1/8......SKY BLUE is the scarf color for 04/805 families.  Should be easy to spot by our sailors.   I plan to go by fleece and make simple scarves for our family.   Yes, it was a different color (black)....However, after  input from other moms we want our sailors to be about to spot us and felt the black would blend in to much.

PLZ help to spread the word.

I wonder if others know of N4M's? ......It doesn't appear that we have many moms of 04/805 on here.

No Problem!  Thanks for everyone's leadership on this, Now we have time to get it together before 2/10/2012!  Sky blue may have some variances, so I will look at lala's scarves for a reference, since I will be making ours for us from fleece I pick up at Joanne's

Yes, Yes.......thanks.  I just thing our Sailors will have a easier time locating supporting family and friends.  Will this be a problem?

No, not a problem at all. What do you think about a Navy anchor on them? I think that would look really good.

Okay......would it be to much trouble to change now.  Sky Blue with NAVY anchor.
