Hi ColtersMom, are you interested in being a part of a new group of families for 068 on facebook? We'd love to have more people join as we just created this group! Search Families/Friends of Ship 11 Div 068
Thanks but I couldn't find the group.....how's it listed?
On another note Dustin's Mom and Marty B...my SR called for additional info for his security clearance and said he knew Dustin D. and Timothy B..........your guys?? If so he said they are doing well and were really great guys (or as he put it really cool). He said they are all working hard to get everything down and he thinks Marlinspike is next week. He didn't have much time to visit but it was such a nice surprise it made my day (even though it's raining and gloomy out)!
Oh my goodness!!! That's my boy! I am so glad to hear that he's doing well. He has not written one letter...the rascal! He said that when he gets time, he studies! Good for him but I sure miss hearing from him. The one 10 minute call was heaven. Thanks for the info! I'm on FB. If you want to private message me, I'll add you to the new group.
Yeah,.... I'm trying to find other mom's, dads, family to join our new group too! Thanks Dustin's Mom for being a part and helping establish this FB group!!
Families/Friends of Ship 11 Div 068.... search that exact line... if not try and search for me. My last name is smith and my photo is of me and my daughter... good luck, we'd love for you to join!
Yes Timothy B would be my "cool" SR!!! He does seem to be doing well and says there are some cool guys that he has met. My SR is the one that jumped up and busted his head open on his bunkmate's drawer and had to go have 5 staples in his head...hahaha. Today should be 2-5 and Marlinspike is scheduled on 3-5 so that would put it next Monday. They seem to be moving right along. Craig said that their schedule was really, really tight for them to complete everything by PIR. Can't afford to be sick or miss anything that isn't scheduled....wisdom teeth removal was scheduled although mine didn't have to have his out at this time.
Hi Everyone, we have created a group for Familes/Friends of Ship 11 Div 068 on facebook if anyone is interested in joining! We would love to have each and every one of you! Our kids are getting to know each other up close and personal.... its nice being able to share information solely on Division 068! Hope to see you all there :-)
Our division is calling!!!!
did you get a call??? I am SO waiting for my call!
I received a call earlier in the today so the GF recived the call in the afternoon. Hope you all were able to talk to your SR's! What a great start for our week!
tlr1122 - what's your SRs first name? I want to write Dustin about him.
Is there anyone who knows they will NOT make it to PIR? I'm going to look for shipmates of my son to take to lunch with us who do not have family attending (Adopt-a-Sailor). If there's interest, maybe we could create a PIR adopt-a-sailor discussion??
