Looking to connect with anyone else who has a loved one on the same ship as my son.  I got a call from him today - I WAS SO HAPPY TO HEAR FROM HIM.  He needed information for his security clearance stuff so it was a quick conversation but I don't care.  It was just nice to hear his voice.  He sounded very tired but upbeat if that makes sense.

I like the stars and red anchor!
I like the stars and the red anchor!

stars and red anchor is good for me as well!

sounds like we are ordering starts with red anchor!  I look forward to meeting you all in a month - we are half way there!

Hooray,  it's official!  Division 064's scarf is stars with a red anchor!  (I love that our colors are technically red, white & blue!)

Looking forward to seeing you all--let's keep in touch as we continue to get more info about our SRs.

I got a letter today!!! Half way there!

half way is very good, things will get better now, not quite as much yelling and the RDC's begin to seem human again :-)

Yay we're halfway there! I get more and more excited every day!

I got a phone call today!  I got to talk to my SR for 30 wonderful minutes.  He was laughing and sounded upbeat.  They have gotten their first flag for passing the first Test.  They have their 2nd fitness test coming up Friday.  He said they are now getting "mail time" about every other night so they will have time to write more letters.  They have been to the NEX a couple of times.  I wrote it down at work what day they are on today and he told me but I forgot.  It was 3-4 i THINK!  Happy to hear him sound so good, says they have a respectfully tough RDC and are learning a lot.  Yay - less than a month to go to PIR

That's good to hear. I keep forgetting to ask my son who some of his buddies are! I would love to connect with their families too! He also said the RDC is teaching now more than yelling.

hi memphis mom, I have a son on the same ship and division. I would love to share with you.

I am new to this, so bear with me please and ty very much.
