Good Morning and Happy Weekend ladies!  How is everyone doing?  What an emotional roller-coaster this week has been, huh.  I recieved a wonderfully positive, two page letter that sent my heart soaring, and the same day, I read the bad news about the other boy.  That really brought me back down to earth!  I can't even imagine the pain that family is going through.

My sons and I celebrated my husband's birthday yesterday with one of his favorite meals and carrot cake. It was good for our children to keep Daddy in the forefront of their minds, but it was really hard for him to miss it. His letter said that yesterday they had their final Physical Fitness Assessment. I hope they all passed. Less than 2 weeks left!

To answer your first question they have gotten the Scholar, drill, athletic and zone. In his letter next to the scholar it says and penant I'm not real sure what that means but in another part of it he says that they have gotten all of their flags. I haven't gotten any calls either other than the I'm here and the I'm still alive. And YES it has been running very slow lately I think it is due to the snow flakes loading at the top (the blue background for the NavyforMoms.com). I'm not sure though just a thought.

Ok Penant just means that they flagged that area twice so they get a flag for the first time and a penant to put on the flag if they pass the second tiime.

I hope to get to be there in time if we are and can only make one of them it will probably be Sarrges! :o) I can't beleive we are finally to the end of this I didn't think it would ever get here!!

10 Days untl PIR! And, 21 days until my due date! OH MY!!!!

Anyone else feel like time is dragging on? I think that we will all get the "I'm a sailor" call next week! I am so ready to be there and see my SR all decked out in his dress blues. I am so proud of him.

I got letter today, my SR passed his final PFA...YAY. Was worried b/c of pulled hamstring.    Said he will be calling friday regarding graduation and that this will be his last letter. Hope this next week goes by rather quickly with little to no snow in the forecast.

i got my im a sailor call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my I am a Sailor call also!!!!!!

I GOT THE CALL TOO. That was the best call ever!! I spoke to my son for an hour!!He sounded awesome!!God is good.

ME TOOOO!!!! I hadn't heard his voice in, like, five weeks and we got a whole hour. So proud of him!
