Received my form letter yesterday (Dec. 17).  He says everything is going well and he already see the changes in himself.  So proud but sure do miss him!

Anyone else?

I am sure they will appreciate it! I had nothing to wrote my son since I had just written 2 days before and my life is not that exciting so I made a collage of some pictures and just printed them out on a sheet of paper and sent. I hope it will remind him of some good memories.

I have done that too :) Took a ton of me, the cats, and things around the house.. Printed on one page then mailed it to him. He loved it so I bet your son will love it too!

I told them all the give my husband a slap on the back for me, that is a lot of slaps *cough* :) Hope they aren't too rough.

BRRR!!! It's cold in michigan today. Finally got our first real snow storm. It's coming down in buckets. Hope you are having a wonderful day!!!

It sure has been quiet on here the last few days.............

Yeah, :( I noticed that as well. Guess some are not around as much, may not have the time.. And have gotten the info they need and may be satisfied until they think of something else. Who knows. We each use this site differently.. for me.. I am a bit of a chatter-bug ;)

I try to get on everyday but I have a 11 month old that keeps me very busy. LOL

I'm not much of a chatter either. But it is great to have all of you here.

My SR and her are my only children so, yeah I forgot over the last 18 years how hard it was and went and done it again.(what was I thinking, just kidding she is the light of my life right now) Actually she keeps me busy enough to not think about my SR as much. But I still miss him something awful. At least I have my boy and girl now. HA

My SR said in last week's letter that he would be very busy the next two weeks and that I may not hear from him as much.

Yep, they are getting into the "fun" stuff from what I have heard. :) Should be on 5-1 day for our DIV, tomorrow. (I think.. or 4-5).. Trying to remember.. I believe when he called me he said that Tuesday would be 4-3 day. If it is 5-1, means it is gas week for them from what he said!

Darcie - how many calls have received?

Can I ask how long you two have been married?

Well.. sure.. if you count his first 30 second call.. a total of 4 times, Sharon. He earned two 10 minute calls. And then the whole division of 062 earned the 40 minute call. I know I have been very lucky with being able to hear from him over the phone. He has been trying really hard to earn them though, proud of him. :)

Can't wait for his last call.. (the 5th), when they all get to let us know they are officially Sailors.

I FORGOT A CALL, he also had to call me for my social.. but it was pretty much strictly business.. :) I got to ask him like 1-2 questions though.

I'm so happy for...I know this would be so much harder if it were my hubby. My son missed the 40 minute call because he was sick. I had one 10 min call so far.
