so are we going with the plain Navy blue, the one with the stars or the one with the pictues? I am confused and would like to place my order wtih Lala.

Hi, I did too!!  How exciting wasn't it.  I can't wait for PIR.  My daughter sounded wonderful and said that things are going good.  I'm with you "gcnavymom", I know the feeling.

I received a surprise phone call tonight as well! My son sounded fantastic!  He said a letter is on the way! Hopefully tomorrow, but after tonight, I am just as happy as I can be!!! Hope everyone gets a call!!!

I got a call too, and a letter came as I was talking to her. I couldn't be happier right now, My daughter sounded so good, so proud of herself. She said she is where she should be and that she has met so many wonderful friends.  To hear her voice, and to hear her sound so happy and so proud of herself,  nothing in the world can top this feeling right now. She told me she thinks she got the call because everyone in this division did so well on their test.  I think all our kids are simply amazing!

I received a call too I was so excited, he only had two sentence in when I started telling him how great I think he is doing after one minute the call was abruptly cut off, I was so sad i didn't know the call would be so quick.

I got a call as well too and it was so wonderful to finally hear her voice. She sounded good and excited with all the things she and her group is accomplishing. She has made friends with a wonderful group of girls and can't wait for us to meet them at PIR. She did say the mail is great and keep it coming! I also am interested in the scarf as well and need the info on purchasing etc.

I'm so glad you got letters! And I'm with you, I can't wait either.

Hi everyone!  I just stumbled upon this site while trying to find more info about my brother's upcoming PIR.  Looks like he's in the same division as your family members, so I'm looking forward to meeting some of you soon.  I'm a little perplexed how he ended up in a performance division - we were under the impression he was going into special forces and he has no musical or ROTC background.  Who knows?  I've gotten 2 letters from him and he sounds to be in good spirits, if a little tired.

Glad I found this site so we're not the only family without matching scarves ;)

Maybe he scored really high on the incoming test. From what I've gathered, high scorers get put in this division also!

Hi all,
Are they on 5/1 or 6/1 week?

I think 5/1! Somewhere on here there is a day by day site that lets you know exactly what will be going on that week! I always have trouble finding it!

Thanks! I think you're right, I was confused because my son has been there since 7 dec.
