Hello all fellow shipmothers, girlfriends, best friends, aunties, grammas, sisters, etc...
Just wondering who is in the same ship and division as my son. I live in Wisconsin and will be staying at the Navy Lodge for the PIR ceremony.
My son will be going to Groton after PIR. I haven't gotten a phone call from him yet but am excited to hear from him.

I got a letter today too...My husband is on his way to bring it to me at work...I am already crying! but it is great to get a letter!
my daughter texted me...we got two letters today! I can't wait to get home from work to open them! But, I am going to be respectful and wait for my husband to get home so we can read them together..hard as it will be!
I also got a letter!! JUST what I needed!! I've been feeling down but this definitely helped a lot! He is doing very well and enjoying it! Says he wishes he was at home with me some nights and gets down sometimes but that he bounces back! I'm so proud of him and I'm so glad he sounds so good! He told me to cheer up! haha guess I need to stop whining so much :p
Jennie...that is so wonderful!
I am at home...the letters are giving me the stare down. My hubby is not home yet so I won't open them. Geez...its killing me. Moved them to the kitchen where I can't see them. My SR's girlfriend said she received two letters today too. One apparantly stated that he wasnt supposed t write but he did anyway...?? Maybe got a little IT for that one! LOL...builds character right?
I got 3 letters in one envelope and his 3rd one said "this is the first day we are "allowed" to write :)" lol so I don't know how he wrote the first 2? His first one was dated the 6th and he said he hadn't been asleep since 3:15 on the 4th!! It was short but very sweet!
I love that, so so sweet :-)
Debra..tomorrow!!!! we just live closer! Keep your chin up!
where are you at?
