Have a great flight tomorrow.  My hubby & I are flying in Thurs.  Looking forward to seeing you at Sarge's :D  Will put your number in my cell.

If you didn't rent a car have sarge pick you up. So much cheaper.

Ladies, I am at the airport and ready to fly to Milwaukee. This has been such a journey and I really couldn't have done it without you all. I have enjoyed posting and reading your posts on here. Thank you for all your sharing. I look forward to meeting you all.

Deborah

Hi ladies. Laying in bed at the Residence Inn Marriott in Waukegen. They are great. Lots of free food and free shuttle to dinner and Walmart for some waters etc. If I had to do it over again I would have stayed in Guernee. (or how ever you spell it. Lol). It's close enough to walk to the mall and lots to do! But this hotel is nice with lots of good things and they are great to us. Now about Sarge.....HE IS THE BEST!!! Use him if you can!!! He is on it! You will not regret it. He is so knowledgable and transportation costs are much cheaper than the other local services. We've talked to others today that have confirmed that so I've been giving them Sarge's number. Can I say we are blessed with this weather! My hubby has been wearing a light jacket. Not me, but he is loving the cool weather. No wind is nice. And where is the snow???? Lol. Not complaining. I will see you all tomorrow!!!!! Have a great evening.

Ladies, I arrived safely here and am at the Sringhill Marriott Suites. We are going to venture out tomorrow and discover Chicago and then to Sarge's meet and greet. I am anxious to meet everyone.

Everyone post as you get here so that we know everyone makes it safely..

.

I thought Chicago is suppose to be cold and snowy. Snow would have been pretty to see, but I am glad it is good weather for everyone's safe travel.

I hope everyone is here or will be arriving safely today for graduation tomorrow. It is so exciting to think that we will finally be at graduation tomorrow. Hope to meet everyone tonight at Sarges

I am in Waukegan!!! See you all soon with my scarf on :-)

Ladies, on my way to sarges in a few minutes. See you all there with my scarf on.

Deborah

In line to go on base for Derek's graduation, yeah! meet and greet was last night

Congratulations Ladies!!!

Ladies, I have enjoyed our journey together and am really happy that I have had all of you to share it with. It was great to have a place to post information about the letters we received and ask questions on things to each other. I believe we are all now friends on facebook. If I have missed anyone please send me a friend request to Deborah Carlsen.  Good luck with your sailors A School and their future duty station. It was great to see everyone at Sarge's Meet and Greet and PIR.

Thank you to everyone that gave me support through bootcamp, this site helped me during times of concern about my son. I pray that all of our sons and daughters stay strong as they go on to their next part of training. Thanks again for all of your words of encouragement during bootcamp. Deborah, thank you for the beautiful scarf, I will always remember the kindness you shared in seeing that as many moms as you could contact wore a matching scarf. As I looked around during PIR I saw the moms with their scarfs that was a nice feeling. You touched many. May God Bless us all as we go another step forward.
