Looking for family with sailors in this division. Have received 2 letters with different street addresses - one Ohio and one Illinois. Anyone having similar issues?

I've been working and away form the computer. I work at a hospital and they have everything blocked. That's okay with me. LOL.....I refuse to upgrade my cell phone, because I know I'll have to get the data package....more moolah each month. I have just this week used my son's smart phone......I like it.
Recieved a letter yesterday & today. He appears to be doing well. He, "can't wait" for PIR.......he's ready to see us.
Roxiegirl, I agree we do need to be mindful and of any post that we leave. I have too have noticed we haven't had much activity here lately.......Come Back 805 moms.....we miss U!!!!!!!!!!
I will be away from the computer tomorrow for most of the day. My dad had surgery today and will most likely be discharged tomorrow. He will have a long recovery. He should have a good recovery.
There are a lot of people on the RTC fb page. There is a separate closed forum for 2/10 PIR families. We do not share personal information, no names are given out (usually)
. Much more activity there than her though. Many wives, fiances and girlfriends too.
If you haven't yet found the story "Our PIR Experience" it is a must read. It is in the PIR forums on the 3rd page, posted by Cindy in 2009. It is a great inside look into PIR. I promised myself I wouldn't cry today, but this one was a tearjerker.
In 2 weeks will be doing our final packing to see our Sailors!!!
And a big HooYah today for our SEAL teams!!
Hello everyone....I posted this on the 2/10/12 SEAL discussion page but will put it here as well. My son graduated in November and is at preBUD/S right now. He is/was a part of Class 2 9 4. This is the next group to head to SD. He has an injury that will in all likelihood move him out of 2 9 4. He will probably be joining up with your guys when they get to preBUD/S and probably form Class 2 9 5. If you haven't already, join the preBUD/S moms group and you'll find that private groups have been set up for all the BUD/S classes. If you all have any questions, feel free to ask me and I hope to get to know you over these next months/years :) We have a close group of 2 9 4 moms but I've learned from the SEAL mom group that it is very rare for the guys to go through with their boot camp buddies because of med rolls, performance rolls, DOR's etc. And I have formed relationships with a number of moms who are further in the journey than I am.
Welcome AZKmom,
making ribbons for graduation today, mail 2 days in a row! doesn't get much better than this :)
We received two letters early in the week. Nothing to hold me over for the weekend. Just think...most likely by this time next week we've had an opportunity to SPEAK to our SR after BS21 =D Continuing to pray for our guys. They've all worked so hard and endured much. C-A-N-'-T W-A-I-T to finally see OUR SAILORS.
Well by this time next week your SR's will have completed Captain's Cup!! 800 divisions quite often win for all male division, I wonder what the competition will be like with TWO 800 divisions?!!
Have a good week ladies :)
Yes, I saw that 804 won recently. Sounds like our guys are going to have some fun. My SR said he was looking forward to it in his last letter. Can't wait to hear all about it!
Hello and goodbye to my 04/805 friends... My future daughter-in-law has been patiently waiting to get even one call from our SR (my son) she finally received one about an hour ago, brief and with the news that he has been rolled back a week. I feel sad for him, I don't know if it means he is now going to do everything with a completely different bunch of SR's, since he is now listed in a different ship and division, with a new PIR. I feel like I am being separated from my family or something! I have checked in to read this feed every day since I joined and now I feel a little lost. I am okay, but pray for my SR and his fiance, lots of adjustments to make in such a small amount of time to adjust.
