Is there anyone with a SR Ship 2 Div 919?  If yes, please comment on the status of your SR and your experience here.  My son is there.  We are from Texas.  I've already made our reservations at the Residence Inn.  I've been doing a lot of reading online and found that this place has nice 2 bedroom 2 bath suites with full kitchen.  I also spoke with a lady online that verified there is a wonderful free full hot breakfast and that he graduation is only 4 miles or so away from the hotel.  The online site state the suite will accommodate 6 comfortably.  I haven't gotten tickets yet as I'm watching the rates.  I've seen prices  fall as low as 200 RT.  However the deadline for use was prior to my departure date.  Chime in if you are going and will be staying at the same hotel.  Maybe we can have a meet and greet night at the hotel or something.  Can anyone tell I'm extremely excited about PIR and getting to see my SR turn Sailor.  Yeah!

We aren't sure what we are going to do yet. We are going to leave that totally up to my daughter since it is her weekend. She is working hard, so she might decide to just rest. But I'm sure that she is going to want to do something knowing her. We are for sure taking her out to eat, her choice lol. I know that we are going to Sarge's on Thursday night for the Meet and Greet.

We are from Northwest Tennessee. We already have our rent a car reserved and our hotel. Our hotel is at America's Best Value Inn and suites.

I am super excited about PIR, that I have went out and bought a camcorder and already started packing our bags. And went out and already bought my pants suit just for this VERY VERY SPECIAL OCCASION. We are so proud of our daughter. Yea I'm still missing her horribly, still have problems going in her room and I'll catch myself staring at her pictures and crying. I can't wait to her her. I mail letters out 2 to 3 times a week so far.

Howdy :) I am from TX! My mother myself and I are attending my boyfriends PIR 3.16.12 and we used the website Navy - Boot Camp Graduations http://www.bootcampgraduations.com/service2.html to get a Hotel and Flight package. It gives lots of good info. I am so proud of him! I can't wait to see him. :) What part of TX are y'all from?

Hello,

Did you call the agency to get great rates or did you book online through their site?  I noticed that their prices for hotels accommodations were approximately $20 higher per night.  I'm still looking for airline tickets. However, if I can combine the airline and hotel for a better rate, I'll use the bootcampgraduations.com.  Any info is greatly appreciated.

We booked our tickets online and yes we did combine the airline and hotel booking to get a better rate. I would compair as many sites as you can to get the best rate. I just wanted to put the website out there so anyone who hasn't seen it can see it. :) Hope that helps.

Now, that's a really cool site!

Welcome aboard mate :-)  What part of Lousianna?  I have lots of family there.

Our sons are probably doing push-ups and sit-up together.  Hopefully we will get to meet in person at PIR or maybe the Sarge's Meet and Greet.
