Anyone else have a nuke graduating on Friday? 1106-4

I do!  Just talked to him this afternoon, said he was about to study some more for his big test on Tues.!

We will be there - daughter is graduating. Wat are people wearing?

It says casual on the invitation--and according to weather website, will be close to 50 as low and 69 as high on Friday.  I am torn between turtleneck and brown jeans tucked into boots, with a jacket I can take off if it gets too hot, or same thing except with a long flowy skirt. Pictures I've seen of other graduations showed folks who were not terribly dressed up, too.

My son will graduate Friday too - can't believe that we will be traveling to SC Thursday!  Does anyone know of any 'traditions' for instance...types of acknowledgment from family...gifts...this is all new to us..we are hoping that our son made reservations somewhere for lunch or dinner...we left that up to him as he would know the area and what others are doing...but they have been so busy studying I can't imagine he has given anything any thought except getting through tomorrow... my thoughts will be with all these wonderful sailors who have worked so hard!

I was so happy to get the call that comps went well and she passed. Yay!!
