Our son is in this Division. We've received a total of 4 letters plus the note on the back of the form letter, and 1 phone call. He sounds great in all of them. Did great on his PAT and swim test, got to take the Class 2 swim test but he said that no one passed that one. He said the division is great and everyone seems to be pulling together well. We've got our reservations at the Red Carpet Inn and cannot wait to go! He will be going to San Antonio for HM school after Boot. GO NAVY!

Does anyone know if the girls and the boys are training togather? I haven't heard any thing since the 17th. just wondering if theres anyone has any information?  07/078

Who has a daughter in 07/078??

Green? Ok- of course my winter coat is chili pepper orange! Hmmm I guess I'll stand out :)

No news yet from lovely daughter. Boyfriend hasn't heard either. I suspectt gthey are just busy. d

ONLY 30 days left!! I can hardly wait to hug my daughter. Sure wish we'de get another call soon. The last call she was fighting bronchitis and about to have 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Of course, the letter I got was written just after the call so I am still worried as to how she is doing. I have to remember...no news is good news!! I pray for the health of all of our SR's.

So Happy!!  Finally spoke with my beautiful daughter..   She is doing good and working hard...  made some good friends.

I spoke to my daughter also!!!  I am crying and smiling at the same time. She sounded so good. She said she has made good friends also. Oh this is a wonderful feeling, just know and hearing in her voice how much better she sounds now from the first call they were able to make. I have my fingers crossed that everyone did or will receive a call soon.  Not much longer Margaret!!!

Yes, First I hope everyone recieves a call.. The sound of her voice, her determination! Knowing they have made a friends.  Im so relieved and happy to be one day closer to seeing and hugging my daughter, my salior!!! 30 days, but who's counting???   haha

I just talked to my son too!!!  He got promoted and was also chosen to lead this division in the Captain's Cup!  I'm so happy I can't stop crying!!  He sounded so happy and proud of himself, what a blessing!!

Add me to the list of ones that got a call today <3 I was over the moon to get to talk to her for an hour! I think we have figured out why I have not gotten any mail also. She said my letters are very thick so I reminded her to put 2 stamps on them better safe than sorry lol.She said they get mail every night and also said she didn't think there were any girls in our div not getting mail. YA MOMS! She sounded good. Said their Chief is actually really nice and seems really up beat. He sent her to counseling because of her Dad dieing right before she left. Someone from Div 77 came in while they were on the phone and they sent them away saying they get a lot more calls than 078 does. My heart was about to burst when I saw that 847 area code today! Anyway another one that sounded good. She passed the swimming which shocked us both. :)

Oh she said they were working on their flags tonight!

Hi, I also got a call- actually 2 since she called back when she couldn't get her boyfriend (a Marine). Doing well. I'm doing better. Says it 's going ok. Sounded confident. Good all around. Now I can relax! d

I got a call today!! I was sooooooooooo happy!!! He sounded and sounds really good. I am sooo excited about our trip. I can't wait to see my Navy Man!! He said he wrote me a letter first (mind you his girlfriend, my sister and my aunt got theirs), but i'm still waiting on mine. We had such a great conversation. I'm still floating. We don't have too much longer ladies!!!
