Melissa....I will need 2. I'm without wifi till tomorrow. I can look & respond via phone.

Hi Melissa! Thanks for doing this.  I will need 2.  I can't believe it was 4 weeks ago that I witnessed my SR's swearing in and then later in the afternoon watched him get on the plane.  Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.  There was something his girlfriend told me after her conversation with Nolan on Monday.  She said he tried on his dress blues and he was overwhelmed. When he took them off he realized he was still just an SR and not a Sailor and he had a ways to go to earn those dress blues. Sigh...

Melissa, I would also like 2 if you are counting.  Thanks for doing this.

I was worried about stepping on toes,  I was not sure if someone else was doing this or keeping numbers but I am more than happy to help.   Plus it keeps me busy and takes my mind off of things so this is what I have so far.   I am going to post this on FB too..

The job is all yours!! I will look for it on FB. Can't get FB at work, they block me.

We are very quiet in here today. Are you all feeling like me, a little more relaxed after getting a phone call from our SR's?  I know I felt like 1000 pounds had been lifted after hearing how good he sounded.  My SR did tell me that they now get mail EVERYDAY but he can only write on Sundays.  I'm hoping for another letter today or tomorrow.  He said so far he has gotten at least one and sometimes 2 everyday.  He got 26 the first Sunday they got mail!!!  Gotta love friends and family!

Huge weight lifted! Somewhat at peace until the week of Feb 27. That's when we should get our "I'm a Sailor" call. My SR's name is Henry Dawson.

Yes a huge weight is lifted.   I had a bit of an axiety attack last night though i think I am just missing him and I felt as though he was thinking of me too.   My son is SR John Christenson.

John told me they receive mail also every day and can write every day but can only mail their letters on Sunday.   I am going to write him a letter today and get it sent off.

I have written almost everyday.  I usually skip writing on Sunday cause I can't mail it till Monday.  I save up all the stories from the weekend for him.  My SR is Eric Cobb.  I went to the local Dollar Store and bought a handful of funny cards that I send out on the days that I just don't have much to report.  :-)

My SR Nolan Bronson mentioned 'Dawson' in his phone call!  They just love the fact that we are all supporting each other.

Yeah, I was reading the page about Battle Stations, thought I was going to cry!!  I can't wait for that call!

Hi, I will need 3 of them, I also posted this on the forum for our ship/div on facebook!

Hi again everyone I just wanted to let you know I finally was able to find the person that makes them.   She makes a lot of different items and her face book page link is https://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.354463201235841.103457...

The Scarves range from anywhere from $13.00 and up and I did not check out the lapel ribbons.  I like the lapel ribbons however they are also very nice.   Pretty reasonable prices.
