Anyone else have a loved one on Ship 9, Div. 087?  My son is going to Nuke School in Charleston following PIR.  Like so many of you, I am counting down the days until March 16!!  Hope to see you there:)

Yes we will all be there! Not sure where we will be staying yet. Is the Navy Lodge booked for the weekend, or did you just want something different?

I needed 2 rooms and the Residence Inn has a 2/2 with a pull out sofa.  I am actually spending less money than if I had to pay for 2 separate rooms.  I've heard great things about this hotel and I think it's only 4 miles away.  My son is not a mall person on a normal day so after graduation I see him wanting to eat lunch and just hang out and relax.

What rate did they give you? And that's exactly what I'm planning for us too...

I think it's $149.  I don't want my son's girlfriend in a room by herself so this room with a kitchenette will be perfect.  I plan to stock it with my son's favorite snacks so he can veg out.  Let me know if you book a room there.

No letter today, hopefully tomorrow!

Thank you for the welcome, Robin! I cannot wait to see Johnny at graduation, but it will also be exciting to see all of the other loved ones from here on this board. :)

I did not receive a letter today, hoping one comes soon!!

Me neither:( Hopefully tomorrow!

My son will be going on to Groton, CT after his PIR date of 3/16.  Counting down the days with you! I can't wait to receive his first "real" letter.  I will let you know when that happens. (I was hoping it is this week.)

KittyS...I'm with you, waiting for a real letter...UGH!!  Hopefully our SRs were able to write letters on Sunday night.  I heard that Wednesdays and Thursdays are the best days for mail.  I hope tomorrow we both get what we're waiting for---a good mail day!!   I think everyone from our division is still "inpatiently" waiting.  Have a great night!

It's Wednesday! I'm gonna do the Blue's Clues mail dance in anticipation of the first real letter lol!

I would really like to see that LOL --Let me know if works!  I would do just about anything for a letter today:)

Paula, did you receive a letter today? I did not get one, so hopefully tomorrow! :) But if you got yours today, I'd love to hear how Johnny is doing!

Nothing yet sweetie:(   Apparently I'm a little rusty on the Blue's Clues mail dance. Dang. And I was WORKIN' it too lol.
