I was just wondering, when we would get an actual letter from them. I can't wait.

I haven't yet, but I know that their time is extremely limited, and they're all exhausted. I told my recruit that he didn't need to worry about writing a book, or even a full letter, to make it easier on him, just give me two or three lines telling me he's ok, and I would survive on that.... (Even though I'm dying to get a full length letter that tells me everything.....)
I only got the form letter. My son scribbled a comment on the back of it. He just said he made it there and he is ok. He might get a phone call in approximately 3 weeks. So, if you consider this a letter, I guess I kind of sort of got a letter. :-) Just getting the form letter was comforting for me, as I did not receive the initial phone call stating he'd arrived. Hopefully, you will get a real letter soon. Hang in there. :-)
Hi Jill my name is Jeanne, my son also sent a small message onthe back of the form letter. He has never been one to write letters, always had phone or computer, like most kids. I am waiting to hear more, so far I have sent him 2 letters it is 2 weeks today. I guess Im just anxious I miss him terrible.
We're all anxious. I'm just so glad we can share our feelings on this site, it helps tremendously. Can you imagine having to "suffer in silence" with something like this? :)
Mine said the same thing on the back of his form letter. I could tell they hadn't been out of the P-days very long. lol
