Leslie, I hate to hear about the shin splints.  Hopefully some quick healing will come his way.  Thinking about you're SR. I know things will get better.

Thank you, Johanna. I was worried at first cause he told me his training was delayed some and I was worried his PIR would be but he said not as of yet it hasn't. I sure hope it doesn't!:(

OH, and he told me not to bring his laptop and Cell phone to the air port because he can't have them the first 2 weeks of A school:(

I don't know if your SR told you about the mail but mine said something about the mail guy didn't get his letters mailed in time or something and we won't be getting our letters this week:( I don't know if it was just his or if it is the entire DIV:I Frustrating!! He wasn't happy, he had written letters to several of us and wanted to get them in the mail to us!

Yes Leslie mine did tell me about the delayed mail..I was wondering if it's just delayed a day or so, or for the whole week..I think it was probably the whole division.. :(

I heard basically the same thing about the mail when I asked if he was getting our letters.  He said that it was delayed 4 days??  I wish they wouldn't say they can get mail Mon-Fri, when that's not true. I understand limiting the calls, but come one.

I figured it was for the entire Div:( That mail person doesn't realize what he/she is getting into by not getting those letters in on time!! lol

So excited about graduation on 3/2/12!  Got a half way through phone call last night!  So excited to hear his voice!  He sounded good and is counting down the days till we go up for PIR!  Looking forward to wearing my purple scarf to represent ship 07 div080 recruits and my son!  Are these scares just for moms to wear or do girlfriends etc wear them.  Wasn't sure

callieahoy

Hi Callieahoy!:) I am excited right there with you!:)  I would say any family member/friend/girlfriend/etc can wear them. I bought one for my daughter. The phone call was wonderful, wasn't it!? So good to get to hear their voice and here that they are doing good!:)

I am here too! Looking forward to 3/2. Driving from MO

I need a little clarification please.  On the purple scarves, is everyone ordering them from Layla or can we just get our own purple scarf?  I was having a friend make me a purple scarf (it doesn't have a anchor on it) but the more I read here I wasn't sure.  Any help will be appreciated.

Callieahoy

Callie,

You can make them, have Lala make them or buy one from a store. I am having my daughter crochet ours. She gets to be a part of the whole thing that way. Just got to pick out the color purple.... there are so many!!! LOL!

A letter came in the mail for me today!!! :) Hope you all get letters too!!
