Hello all fellow shipmothers, girlfriends, best friends, aunties, grammas, sisters, etc...

Just wondering who is in the same ship and division as my son.  I live in Wisconsin and will be staying at the Navy Lodge for the PIR ceremony.

My son will be going to Groton after PIR.  I haven't gotten a phone call from him yet but am excited to hear from him.

I recieved a letter today from my SR so excited,  he said that they are working on their firearms this week and they will be taking their pictures yeah.  I cant wait to see him.

you guys are killing me...1.25 hours to go before I can go home and see for myself!

no letter for me today

but alyssa got one. she said it was short

None for me either, but I think I'll get mine on Thursdays.  I know he wrote one; he told me to expect one.  Can't wait!

hope you got a letter today!

I got one, shorter than the others, but still good.  He talked about being measured for their  uniforms, getting used to his new hair cut, can't remember what else.

awee thats nice.

So, are you sticking with the Navy Lodge and using Sarge's shuttle?

We got a letter yesterday, with a second one enclosed to go to his sister.  He said it would save him time if we forwarded it on.  Not a lot of time for writing.  I have a few questions....Which meet and greets are everyone going to?  and how did their division become "senior"?  Is it the luck of the draw or are they chosen for a reason?

28 full days ladies!!! :)
