I just found this and I read everything and am now up to speed on everything.  Phew!  I was so out of the loop.  I had no idea.  I feel so much better now.  I guess I better start my search for a purple scarf.  :)

There are so many of you that I haven't "meet".  My SR is a soon to be Seabee who is enjoying paradise at Great Lakes.  Hello to all I haven't met yet!!!

Hi...I just a purple scarf for me and my daughter. I don't know if there is a store called 'Versona' near you.  It is new to our area, but it is like accessory over-load. They had a lot ON SALE!  Good luck!

Got my second letter today! Better late than never this week. My SR misses home and can't wait to be done with BC....

Yay! We all (me, my husband and daughter) got letters today. My fella sounds great in all the letters. While he acknowledges things are tough, he is very happy! All of our letters were filled with lots of personal things about us, but he did speak highly of his shipmates and his meals! :)  It really was nice to hear that he missed my cooking considering I'm not the best cook. My favorite part was the last sentence in his letter to his sister: "Listening to your parents 'now',means way more 'later' than you may think, trust me."  Love this...:)

HI all!:) Sorry I have not been on in a few days, just wanted you guys to know I wasn't ignoring you:) I got my second letter Saturday!:) Was nice getting to hear from him again. Hopefully the mail person will get it out earlier this time!! My SR sounded good and said he LOVES all the letters I have been sending:) Makes me happy to know he is glad I am sending him one every day!  I have been putting a scripture and riddle at the end of each letter and he said he really likes that and I could ad a joke in if I wanted to, lol. I had to search for some jokes!! The scriptures and riddles were easy, the jokes are a little harder to find that I want to repeat! lol

I bought myself and my daughter a scarf and ordered my son's Love;) one from LaLa Ribbons. I ordered ribbons and window decals as well from her and can't wait to get them!:) I am so excited about graduation and can't wait til it gets here! We are half way there!! Yay!

Hope you all have a wonderfully blessed week! Leslie

If you haven't checked out the new encouragement questionnaire in the discussions be sure and check it out. It is funny and has a great paragraph of encouragement for battle stations. This is the one I made for my daughter, I hope you all like it :-)

Where do I find it, Lala? :)

On the PIR groups main page look just above where you post comments and it is listed the the discussions as encouragement questionnaire. Let me know if you don't find it and I will send it to you :-)

Found it!!! GREAT questionnaire!!! :)

Thank you Lala for sharing. I loved it!!  It's in an envelope to be mailed out to my son tomorrow.  He'll really get a kick at out of it. Awesome idea!!!!

You can also send a couple extra copies so your recruit can share them with their friends and then they too get the benefit of the encouraging paragraph and they can then send it to their own family and fill them in on what has been happening :-)

Got a letter from my son on Saturday. I was so excited!!! He said it is getting easier. I am so proud of him. :) He also said that they would be calling on Tuesday!!! OMG!!! THAT IS TODAY!!!!!
