For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Does anyone have a SR that will be a Gunner's Mate? Mine will be staying at Great Lakes for 3 weeks and then off to somewhere else! I have no idea where the next place will be, just that once they are done training they get leave!!
If you haven't checked out the new encouragement questionnaire in the discussions be sure and check it out. It is funny and has a great paragraph of encouragement for battle stations. This is the one I made for my daughter, you may have to tweak it a little since my Sailor is a girl. I hope you all like it :-)

Hello all, just posted on the FB forum that there is a new addition to the group. My SR just transferred to this division Fri so there will be one more person playing Trivia for 09/075!

Don't feel like you have to answer, but can you share why/how your SR landed in this division. I understand that SRs move around sometimes. I'm just trying to understand the how and why of it all.
Oh, and we'll TOTALLY WELCOME the help on Trivia Tuesday. I need to go warm up my various sleuthing skills for that!

Trivia Tuesday is on the Navy FB Page it is https://www.facebook.com/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand you have to like the page and then on the wall at high noon Great Lakes time, which is 1pm eastern time, they post a trivia question from this site. http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/. you have really be on your toes and know where things are but it is a blast. we were very close last week.
Ok so if we win we get picture of our SRs?
Sorry guess I should have added that. Yes we would get a group photo of the division and they try to put the winning parents child up front and center.
