GoatLady Thank you Thank you Thank you for sharing that information it does help!!!!!!! HOOYAH!!!!!

Got my call, too!  Dellene- my son said he knew which son was yours...My SAILOR (yay!) said they did really well on BS-21 (scored a 4.94 out of 5!). He stays in GL a little more than 2 weeks and then has to wait in CA to class up (they're saying April!).  I had a hard time keeping it together, but I did it!  Told him how proud we all were of him.

Got my call too!!!! We talked for about 30 minutes. I cried so hard when I answered the phone I had to give the phone to my husband til I calmed down. My Sailor said the first thing he wants to do when he gets liberty is get a deep dish pizza....anyone have any suggestions on where to get the best in town. Congrats to all our Sailors!!! Can't wait to meet everyone and can't wait to see my Sailor!!!!

we got the call also, very tired, he said pretty much the same, orders tomorrow, off to ca 10-20 days starts new class in april.   thank you everyone for all the support

Got my call too!  Talked to my Sailor!!!  Life is good!

Got our call and he talked for 30 minutes! Was great to hear his voice, although I could barely hear him for some reason. He said their division is still the top division. He will probably get his orders tomorrow. He said they've laughed a lot today, and they got to drink pop. He's gained 15 lbs! (He needed to.)

It was sure a long, long day of waiting wasn't it? But to hear his sweet voice lifted me up to cloud 9 I think! It's been great sharing these pages with all of you. Can't wait to meet you all and your sons. Congratulations to us all, proud mothers of U.S. Sailors!

My son mentioned, too, something about that they were the top division - Yeah 806!  He also put on 15 lbs - which he also needed.

Yes, it was an awful long day of waiting.  But, wasn't it worthwhile!!  Congratulations to all the new Navy Moms of the new Navy Sailors - doesn't that sound wonderful!! So proud to wear the title Navy Mom!!

Can't wait till Friday to see him and meet ya'll!

Mindy, thanks so much for startin this group-and ladies it has been great sharin info/feelings with ya-we DO have sailors now but I hope we will still stay connected-sounds like some are off to different areas-mine is goin to Pensicola so if any of you have seen,, there is a group for that,  and also one for moms of air rescue swimmers-hope we can connect- Thanks again ALL! Hoorah!!!

I loved being a part of this group, too.  It helped me get through this long and "interesting" journey.  My son is also headed to Pensicola to be an air rescue swimmer.  He is going to pick up his tickets today.  He said something about being at  O'Hara at 2 a.m. Saturday morning (UGH!).

Thank you Mindy for starting this group!  God Bless all you ladies and your Sailors!

I haven't received a call yet, but I will see you all in GL. I'm trying not to worry myself about him not calling yet since I know everyone in 806 passed. I wish everyone safe travels and see you at the Meet and Greet.

hi maile0829 mom,, maybe he is having trouble with phone card.  my grandson said each call deducts 35 minutes just for making a call.   it will be ok we're still with you

I wish there was a LIKE button on here so I could hit it after reading all of your posts! See you Friday, and maybe at Sarge's Thursday?
