Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Anybody else get a letter today!! He said they had to sit down and write. It was dated Jan 31. He will recieve his rate today. Of course, thanks to snail mail I won't know until next week.

If you haven't checked out the new encouragement questionnaire in the discussions be sure and check it out. It is funny and has a great paragraph of encouragement for battle stations. This is the one I made for my daughter, you may have to tweak it a little since my Sailor is a girl. I hope you all like it :-)

Middle school -gifted (probably obvious by my user name) I am the only gifted teacher at my school so I get any students who are gifted no matter what grade. I have taught 2-8th all in one year. Right now I only have 6th, 7th, and 8th.
School web blocks facebook so I can't get on and try to win our division on Tuesdays.
Seems like everyone is writing that they are running out of things to say to their. SR
. Luckily it is almost time for them to move on to A school.
I guess we will all have to adjust to that too.

Hi gifted educator,. I am a middle school music teacher from north west Indiana. I also teach grade 67nd 8.
Have not heard from our SR in two weeks....?ast we heard was a phone call that I missed but my husband said his voice was horse because he has been calling the cadences......... -

Sorry no letters Mine are super short . Didn't get a phone call. He won't say that we are listed in his list for grad so my husband won't make reservations.How long have you taught?

I think I'm going to take the 915 picture that is posted and photo shop my son's head on one if them and pretend!!! How desperate is that! Got a survey back today. I wanted to know if what I'm hearing on here matches what he is doing. He said tomorrow I'm guessing he is referring to last Monday was Week 4 day 1. Colored envelopes mattered to some RDCs not all, didn't say if his was one that it mattered to, I got a VERY TRUE on "do you get push-ups or have to dance if receiving a musical card, and that he was looking forward to marlinspike (funnest thing so far) and a yes there is a red light on at night.
