Robin are you on FB?

Yes, I'm on FB.  I'll send you a friend request on N4Ms

My SR TN said all is good!! He liked the FOOD!!! Has about 15 min in the bathroom. Very pretty girls there. Officers: one talks like T-Rex on toy story, one is a dipper (chewing tobacco I think) and one reminds him of the african american on ADVENTURES OF OLD NEW CHRISTINE!! He said she sounds like her. The officers fav word is the "F" word. He said he got to go to chapel and really liked it. From what I can understand he is the mailman?!!!  of the 087. The sun coming up on the lake was breath taking. Everyone loves his country slang!!! He liked all his div buddies. It seems they are really doing good. What did the other SRs say?? Oh he also said he had a swimming test and passed. He came up short on the push ups. Had to do 42 but only did 33. Did all the sit ups and did good on the running. Going to work was the guns too. ok enough what u guys? Tell it all!!!!!!   GO 087!!!!!!!

I've heard the div has lost several people for one reason or another, and he's concerned about everyone graduating together, but he says they are growing together everyday, which is encouraging.  He also mentioned the cursing, however he's enjoying all the different accents lol. It's funny he mentioned that. Wonder if he's talking about TN? He really likes living on military time, says that it seems to make the day go faster, and it sounds like he enjoys the structured environment. He didn't say anything about the food, except he's lost a ton of weight from the running and food portioning. And he was happy that his girlfriend and I are staying in touch and supporting each other. C'mon! Who's next?!

I hate that some are leaving but maybe this will be  better for our boys. Make them closer!  I wonder if they can understand my SR! He is very country!! AND VERY VERY HYPER!! or was anyway!!

I posted back a page about my letter.  I am still not really good at using these groups and should have posted at the bottom of the group.  Tim did mention that Tn is one of his new friends.  He listed a few others as well.

Well, your guys gave up quite a bit of info in their letters.  I am glad they are all doing well.  My son in last week's letter that they started at 88, were down to 85 and still dropping.  He said some were not moving fast enough so it was causing them to get yelled at a lot.  I agree LT, I hate to see anyone leave but hopefully, the division is coming together and the yelling is coming down.

I'm praying for a letter tomorrow and phone calls for all of us.

I got my second letter yestrday n my son loves the food he got hiswisdom teeth out and was kinda sick he said he has 2 cool RDC's n they get yelled at all the time but other then thats he said he likes it and is doing good i know he misses us and that makes me feel very loved hope u all have a great day cant wait 2 hear about u r letters.

Hi Candy.  I'm guessing that my son had his wisdom teeth pulled too.  Something tells me that our sons are bonding:)  It sounds like your son is doing well.  I'm feeling a little down today but nothing a good letter won't fix!!  I really hope a letter comes today and I'm praying that our phones start ringing:)  Thanks for you post.  It's helps to hear that these guys are getting along ok.  Have a good day!

Don't worry Robin! You'll get it! Can't wait to hear your son's perspective! LT, I mentioned TN in my letter, and I'm waiting to see if he knows him. I have also mentioned Jeana's son, and no response yet there. I will also ask about Tim, Kitty:) Candy can you tell me a little more about your son so I can ask my son if he knows him? BTW, on Feb 5th he says the head count was down to 82 from 88.

Since we're a bunch of prayin' mamas, lift up our ship/div that they may bring glory to Jesus' name! I have faith God is using boot camp to mature our kids. Pray that they be encouragers to one another, and that they finish together in a way that shows them to be the young people from the God-fearing families from which they come.

Hello everyone, my name is Sue.  My son is in Div. 087.  One of my co-workers son graduated last year and suggested this site to me.  She said it was unreal and would help get you through until graduation and she was right.  I have been sitting here this morning reading all the post.  I received form letter and my first letter and just waiting for the mail to come today:)  I have been so worried because I haven't received the first phone call but it seems like everyone else hasn't either.  Has everyone already made their reservations for 3/16?

Forgot to mention, my son is going to Groton, CT afterwards and we are from Maine so that will be a close drive to visit him while he is there!
